Repairs without receipt?

How does Louis Vuitton handle repairs without receipt? I am not the original owner. I just noticed the glazing pulling apart on the corners of my Sarah wallet. The date code on the wall it shows that it was made earlier this year.

You don’t need a receipt as long as the item is authentic.

I can confirm no receipt is needed. Brought in 2 items for repair so far and both times they didn’t ask for a receipt. I was the original owner of both though but I don’t think that matters as long as it’s authentic.
