Rene Caovilla shoes opinions??

Im thinking of buying these Rene Caovilla shoes from luisaviaroma.com. Think they will look fabulous at parties with the glittery soles but they are expensive - should I go for it???

i personally think caovilla shoes are beautiful and reminds me of fairy tales, albeit a bit more sexy. my avatar shows my wedding shoes from them. and the glittery sole in your link is so unique!

however, they are quite expensive, and if you have the occasion to wear them several times or you have an upcoming party that you need them for, then i say go for it, otherwise, if there's no rush, i'd wait for them to go on sale...

I have a pair of vintage Caovalli shoes and they
run 1/2 size small.

I love Rene Caovilla. I'm so excited, I'm going to Venice this summer and I'm planning on going to their boutique there. I have a few pairs but my favorite was a pair of black satin heels with pearls and crystals in a vine pattern. I had them in my suitcase and during a connecting flight, our luggage arrived after us. By the time they shipped our luggage back to us, my shoes had been stolen out of the suitcase. I still miss these shoes.

pretty i guess it normal that the front have some space. I though maybe my toes are short lol..i saw another version where the bottom are torquise color too.

Thats horrible! Things like that make me nervous about taking precious items travelling. I have some family friends who are photographers and constantly need to travel between countries with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth in camera gear. It got lost one time, but the airport got it back to them pretty quickly because they were afraid of a law suit.
