Easy come and easy go! I went to a retirement party on Thursday for 2 friends that I have worked with for years. I gave the burgandy convertible clutch to one of them and the red bucket bag to the other one. They really seemed to like the bags and I am hoping that they will use them occasionals and think of me.

My son spilled an entire root beer into my wife's coach purse. It is a blue leather bag with a fabric (nylon?) lining. The tag inside says E-1173. In addition to smelling like root beer, there are some stains on the fabric liner.

If anyone can provide some advice on how to clean this I (and my son) would be very grateful. If there is a service where the bag could be cleaned, that would be fine too.

Please email suggestions to stomas at charter dot net.
