I've been trying to order online but the ulta website hung up on checkout and now it says that I have $40 more worth of product in my cart than I do, even if I completely empty my cart, it still says I have a $39.94 subtotal even though my cart is empty. Clearing my cookies hasn't worked either. Urgh.

I agree. They can't have a different reaction than those of us who have experienced it. I can't imagine ladies leaving their manicurists to DIY, but those who already enjoy the art of design and painting will definitely be excited. Best thing since sliced bread....as they say.

I also love that I woke up to an email from them "reminding" me that I had left something in my online shopping cart. Um, yeah, I left it all there after trying for an hour to buy unsuccessfully BUY IT from you...
Apparently they were told it was a September 1 launch and they were sticking to it! Mindless drones! It was particularly frustrating because I'm a fairly regular customer there (got the card and all) and you think they'd let me look just to cultivate good customer relations. It's not like they're doing a ceremonial unveiling or something!
Turns out there's another Ulta near me that has theirs out.
Maybe this is the universe's way of telling me that I shouldn't be buying more. I was trying to hold off until the SOG Exchange Box got to me before shopping for new colours, but I am champing at the bit to see the new RCM, Orly and OPI gel polishes.
I know exactly what you mean, I was the same way with these RCM polishes though I havent seen ulta carrying the orly or opi gels yet. I think those arent going to be out till late fall but I am super excited about those because I liked the axxium but its hard to do it yourself.
I did the same as Gelish just 2 mins for each coat(using a36watt uv light) and used the Top it off sealer (didn't use the foundation on the swatches) but it worked fine no color rub off at all which was nice because with Gelish sometimes I will get a tiny tiny bit
Yea that is so silly I would say well if you refuse I will just go to this...... Ulta and purchase from them since thier store and evvery other store out there already has the display out
I would just use gelish base and top, or whatever brand you have. So far I haven't found any incompatibilities.
I don't think there is really any more skill involved really. Just a small learning curve. So far gel polishes have been a huge hit with the general public!
did you use a different lamp? I bought the red carpet lamp. Do you think it will be ok? I am new to the process!
