LOL! I am glad I am not the only one then :-)

Oh my gosh, I thought I was the only one that did not like gold! There are at least 3 more of you! I do wear some gold jewelry, but like white gold better and my wedding ring is platinum.

Honestly, the biggest challenge is trying to find silver picture frames--they all seem to have a gold wash even when they are called silver.

I don't wear gold jewelry either but I can't say I don't like it!! I am warm toned but prefer white gold, silver, etc

And I don't like how silver looks on me. If I do wear it, I generally wear gold with it. I hardly have anything grey or silver, but I have jewelry as well as shoes, purses, and even some clothing items in gold. It goes very well with my olive skin. But put yellow on me, and I look like I have a liver disease.

Does anyone have an opinion to which is the best between gelish, shellac and red carpet? I like gelish a little better than shellac but I still order the shellac (CND). I saw red carpet for $9.99 at duane reade i opened to see the density of the polish and wasn't a fan. But has anyone used red carpet, if so how was it?

Gelish and RCM are distributed by the same company, and many of the RCM colors are dupes of Gelish colors (with different names). Alot of us here think what's inside the bottle is the same product.

This thread is filled with people who have used RCM and their opinions. If you do a search on Shellac in this thread, you will probably find posts that pertain to comparing those two.

Oh wow I had no idea. Thanks for the information. I do however thing gelish is better quality than RCM and its only a few cents more than RCM.

With all the coupons and the rewards, RMC at Ulta can be much less expensive. Everyone that I have know to use RMC says it is exactly like Gelish except the brushes are frequently bad. You need to open the bottles and inspect the brushes before you buy RMC.

I think Gelish and RCM are exactly the same. I also think the brushes get messed up from everybody opening them to inspect. That's the conundrum. My Ulta displays them near the front by the windows and I think it's a bad idea to put them there when people open them up to look at the color.

I also wouldn't buy one without opening it up to see the brush and the color but I step around the corner and out of the sunlight and try to be quick about it.

They wear and apply indentically for me, and both brands are the bulk of my collection.

I actually prefer the mini bottles, and even though I personally have never had a problem iwtha brush, they say with the next round of colors soon to be released they have changed their brush. Several dollars cheaper than a mini Gelish with a Sally Beauty card, and with coupons like Ann said, even cheaper than that. They don't however, have as many colors, but if they do have the color I want, I see no reason to spend up to $5 more for a Gelish.

I'm right there with u!! I love RCM and will gravitate towards them more for the deals u get from using ulta coupons!!! Besides the long flemsy brush on RCM(which they are getting rid of anyway), it is identical to Gelish and they have several 100% exact dupes.....so why pay more?!??! Let's hope they bring alll the colors out by the end of the year!!
