I was just reading on the red carpet manicure site and now it says to cure color coats for 3 min under uv light, my bottles say 2 min but just curious if anyone knew if something had changed?

Hmmm...interesting!! I don't use my uv lamp anymore, cause I have the led pro light! Prior to my led I was always curing for 2 minutes (it has automatic timer for 2 min). It cured well, however for dark colors I would cure em a bit longer!!

From reading on here, and the fact that I almost always do dark colors, I have always cured RCM for 3 min each coat. It has worked well for me.

H&NH (RCM's parent company) has changed the cure times listed on their bottle several times. In general, I always cure lighter colors for 2 minutes and darker colors for 3 minutes. HTH

I was lusting after a dark blue so I chose Midnight Affair and to add bling added Izzy Wizzy Let's Get Dizzy on the tips. Not a French. Sort of a fade.

I went to my ulta today and of course I just had to pass by the RCM display!! The associate quickly came my way and started raving about the product, and I thought to myself: wow she loves it as much as I do! Then I told her I too have been using it for long time and asked her when new colors are coming out! She said they are having a "reset " in 2 weeks. She said reset means either new items are coming, or kits, and it can lso mean discontinuing of something! Yay, I can't wait!! I bet spring colors are coming in!!

Hey everyone, I was wondering if I can use my Gelish base and top coat with Red Carpet colors? I noticed the colors are the same, and I can be sure that they are not knock offs because I can buy them at Ulta. hope to get a reply soon :) Thanks!
