Red Carpet Reddy is a true slightly darkened warm red

I THINK this one looks like Gelish stand out in the bottle. I didn't buy it, since I have Stand Out, but looking at it in the bottle and comparing it to my swatches it looks like a darkish red jelly color.

I totally almost got the shimmery red one though. I wondered if it might be too similar to Shellac Red Baroness though, so I opted not to get it for now.

Best Dressed, the bottle looked like Elegant Wish, but the color inside didn’t look highly pigmented? Would like to see this one on someone!

I saw this one too. I think that was the name of it. I can't remember either! I couldn't figure out what the color would look like though, as even after shaking the bottle it didn't look very pigmented!

Thanks for the dupes list! I'll update the dupes spreadsheet when I get a chance. :)

Red Carpet Reddy did not look like Stand Out to me, I remember being struck by how "blue" Stand Out was and this was definitely a warm red.

I shook the bottle of Best Dressed too and it didn't seem to get any darker, who knows? I never used Elegant Wish myself, only saw it swatched on the wheel during the exchange, so perhaps that's how it appears in the bottle. Maybe I'll ask on the Gelish thread :)

I may have to take another look at that red. I don't think stand out is that blue, but then I'm pretty terrible at describing subtle shades and stuff lol. I just hate to get it just to swatch it and find out they are too similar.

As far as glitter in between coats of a jelly like color such as the dark blue, you have to try it! Pics will follow shortly! :-)

So Ulta shipped the mini lamp even though I paid for the Pro. :( I attempted a mani with Paparazzi and it came out sooooo bad so I took it off and did it with 9 inch heels and it came out better, I went slower but I feel like it looks like there is tip wear.. The mini light takes forever it seems and I think I will mail it back. Any tips or tricks to this process?

I'm new here though I've been reading for awhile. I've been using Gelish since April and am addicted to SOG polishes.

Right now I'm wearing Paparazzied which is a basic hot pink (a lot like NYC's Greenwich Village: http://www.newyorkcolor.com/products/nails/nail-color/new-york-color-minute-quick-dry-nail-polish). Red Carpet Reddy seems to be a classic red--like what's on a Coke can. Glitz and Glamorous reminds me of I'm Really Not a Waitress by OPI. I'm going to hold off on buying more colors until Ulta offers another 20% off coupon. :)

Not the best picture, the dreary weather isn't helping matters.

Swatched my new RCM Midnight Affair and am a little disappointed in the color. I like that it's a cream though so may try it with three coats or over Gelish Hot Fudge or Geleration Notorious as I've done Ocean wave on them before to get a dark shimmery blue. The blue just isn't as dark as I had hoped.

Far Left = RCM Midnight Affair,
Second, RCM And The Winner Is over Midnight Affair,
Third, And the Winner Is
Fourth, And the Winner Is over Amazon Flirt (it is streaky but not as bad as it looks here...
Last, Part of Ooba Ooba Blue on the end

Thanks for the picture! At the store I thought that "The Night is Young" and "Lighter Shade of Gray/Midnight Caller" were really similar shades of gray.... but it looks like "The Night is Young" is much darker than I had thought! Thanks again :D

When I compared my swatch wheels to the bottles in the store, The Night Is Young looked like a dupe of Nailite Cast Iron (pot gel).
