Thanks so much!
When I first purchased all my items I googled like crazy. Also look for tutorials on youtube. If you type in Gelish, they have a bunch of individual ones as well as the official Harmony tutorials. I ended up sticking with RCM, because it's cheap and conveniently easy to find here in Northern California. The Gelish info is interchangeable with the RCM system. And the thread for beginners here is excellent.

My first attempt at French manicure. RCM Nervous With Anticipation and White Hot. Not perfect, and it took me for freakin' ever. Hopefully with practice...View attachment 2213987

Looks great! I don't know if this will help or not, but Ink gel polish has an art line of SOG. they have a white SOG that comes with an ultra fine brush that should help with a french Manicures. Here's the link to their website.

That's pretty cool, I wonder if its same consistency and regular gel polish hmm..

Thanks ladies! Sorry, I can't figure out how to quote right now. :-) I did on painting the smile lines but I really struggled with the white hot color. I had to shake it a lot (which I hate doing because of the bubbles) and still had to do two coats to get even coverage. What a pain!

I received the RCM gel polish starter kit with the portable led light. I followed the instructions and after wiping off the tacky layer some of the polish came off on the lint free wipe and the very tips of my nails all the polish came off. Do you think I need to stay under the light longer then what the directions says? Or is the portable light crappy? Thanks Guys :)

In one word, yes. Did you get the Pro45? I used it for about a year until I bought the Gelish 18g light. If you use darker colors do a minute plus. I always did a little extra time, just on case.

JMO, but I'd say yes, the portable light is crappy. Even the "Pro" light didn't last me a year and didn't cure very well. I'd return that light because that isn't cured.
