Red Carpet Mani polish is $7.49 at drugstore.com.

Thanks for the tip - got a couple of polishes, some or my favorite Aveeno and Burts Bees lip conditioners, and some new Burts Bees lip tint I've never tried - couldn't pass up the $25 free shipping. Never did find the $5 off for new customers, but still very good prices.

I did a soak off yesterday with the hands down nail wraps and really saturated the pads with the Erase remover this time. After 15 minutes with the microwaveable heat pack, I was able to twist off the bandages and all of the polish came off with the bandage. No stubborn bits and no nail damage. YAY!

A hotwater bottle shouldn't be any different from my microwave heat pack, it is full of liquid and you pop it in the microwave for 35 seconds. A hot towel might work too. Good luck!
I find the RCM polish with the Gelish Base is just awful to remove. I spent an hour last night and my
nails feel terrible. I use the cotton ball ,foil and RCM remover method. Did not use heat. The removal process is what is so hard on your nails. I do not mind doing the polishing but dislike the removal. The best removal is using regular nail polish under the base coat but then my mani's did make it past 3 days but removal is great. Need to find a happy meduim. Shellac for me removes so much easier

Have you tried OPI base coat? Since using it I get 2 week wear and 10 min or less removal!

That's the beauty of DIYing! You can keep playing with combinations until you find what works best for you.

Today i decided to try OPI rnp base coat before beginning my SOG mani. I soaked off my 2nd vitagel strenghth mani today and it took forever. Yes, the color came off in big chunks, but the strength hardly budged after a very long soak. I hope the rnp base coat method will give me easier, quicker soak offs.
