Big fan of cashmere here! I think it's perfect for spring because it's lightweight, breathable, and still keeps you warm on those cooler mornings and evenings.
Here's a great article that has some solid reasons to convince you to wear cashmere in spring, plus some useful styling tips.

I have cashmere sweaters from Uniqlo from over 7 years ago and they lasted pretty well. However their cashmere is not consistent, it varies in quality, season to season even within the same batch. BRORA is in my book the very best cashmere though, really long lasting and beautiful finish. It's not the cheapest cashmere you can buy, but it is excellent value for money.

Does anyone have any recommendations for high quality cashmere brands that will last through multiple seasons? I have tried many different brands ( J crew, Vince, Saks and neimans store brands, ralph lauren, alice and olivia, etc.) and the sweaters have all pilled relatively quickly. I am very careful with my sweaters and still have cashmere sweaters from many many years ago that have lasted ( RL purple label was fantastic). Unfortunately, the quality lately seems to be declining. I have seen Alice Walk and Jenni Kayne all over tik tok but I can never tell if these posts are sponsored or legitimate.

Does anyone have any brands they can recommend?
Jenni Kayne has become popular again recently because of the Meghan Markle show, and I have to say their stuff is definitely not worth the price. Quince makes a lot of JK dupes and while neither are superb quality, at least you're not paying an exorbitant amount for Quince.

I'm a big Burberry cashmere fan (coats, not sweaters). Bought two this winter. Super warm, soft, stylish and comfortable; and not badly priced (considering it is a luxury brand).
