Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Lululemon's cashmere!

I've been wearing my Lululemon cashmere pants for a while now and I'm pleased with their quality. I also like the fit a lot, much better than any other brands (cashmere pants) I've tried on. It's started piling slightly, but that's expected and I easily remove it with the piling machine, takes 30 secs

Thank you! That's great to hear that it's holding up well!

How are they compared to Loro baby cashmere? Thanks!!
I’m not a cashmere expert, but Barrie is Scottish (Chanel bought the Barrie) and Loro piana is Italian. I would read up thread for advice from @DILF and @Christofle. Below is what I’ve been told; and anyone with more knowledge should feel free to correct me ;)

In general, Scottish is considered more durable (their knits are less milled; apparently this is called bare finish)*

Italians mill their cashmere more heavily for a softer finish. Theoretically, more heavy milling might result in more pilling,

But a quality heritage Italian or Scottish producer would use long fibers for longevity of the garment.

i currently have several Chanel cashmeres and also wear DH’s Loro piana. I don’t see much difference.

I do have a no name Scottish cashmere sweater from my mom’s closet, and it’s decades older and fabulous. Soft and durable.

*re Scottish and Italian wool, I’ve heard Scottish referred to as a drier or harder finish (hardier and less prone to show age)
