I totally agree. The Ricky has nothing to do with the Birkin. Completely different designs.I actually visited the Ralph Lauren store last Saturday prior to receiving this bag, as I had never seen one in person. In my humble opinion the soft Ricky in smooth leather that they had looked somewhat cheap. However, they had a suede style that was to die for. After that I figured I would be in for major disappointment and would just be sending this one back. Imagine my surprise to find such a beautiful and seemingly well-crafted bag once I opened the box. However, I am still miffed on how this size 33 came with the strap that is featured on the size 40. There must have been a mix-up somewhere and straps got switched. Nevertheless, the bag is beautiful in person and strap perfect given the weight of the bag when filled. I also would like to make mention that for anyone seeking authenticity on a pre-loved, there is a tag with serial number View attachment 3471684 located within the inside pouch. It is too bad that so many naysayers have trashed this bag as a "Birkin" copycat. I do not see a resemblance, as the bag is individual and beautiful in its own right. The Birkin has become horribly exploited thanks mainly in part to the Kardashians. I am very excited to be able to own a bag that so very few do. Kuddos to Ralph Lauren for keeping this bag exclusive.
No one can make a handheld bag with a flap or sanglons without being accused of copying the Birkin...
