I'm actually based in Malaysia. The email response I got said they couldn't check European stock (unlike Dior's more integrated customer service where they can check globally). I assumed the Saddle Ricky was a permanent part of the Ricky line and would always be displayed on the US website regardless of inventory level (I've checked the European and Asian sites often and the Saddle Ricky has never been up on any of them). I guess I'll have to get a concierge to hunt one down in Europe for me.

Thanks! :D It's a beautiful bag and I have a huge weakness for saddle leathers. Shame it's not part of the permanent collection. One would've thought saddle and Ralph Lauren were intrinsically linked, especially given the Ricky is RL's headline act.

Hi everyone! I just joined the Ricky club :)

Attached is a photo of my new baby. She's a limited edition run of eight [worldwide], matte black RL soft ricky.

I really lucked out getting her!!! The bag retails for $27,500HKD (I am in Hong Kong) or roughly $3,550USD but I got it at a special price from a friend who works at RL during a staff sale.

Now I just need to muster up the courage to use her. So far, I've only pranced around home with it! LOL
