I have 10 quota and 10 non quota bags. They are a mix of clutches, shoulder carry, totes, smaller bags and large bags. They are a wide variety of colours as well as neutrals. They are a variety of leathers including exotic and my favourite, barenia. All were purchased from the boutique over a period of a decade plus. They all have their purpose and utility, which is why I have never sold one, however, during this time, none of them other than my Evelyn (very occasionally) is getting any use while at my lakehouse. My collection is perfect for me!

I have 4 quota bags and 6 non quota bags now. I haven't asked for a quota bag this year and likely will wait a bit because I just don't know what I want and I am really into shoulder bags right now. I will likely get another Roulis or Constance before I get another B/K.

I love all my bags - it's not always appropriate to carry a Birkin or a Kelly. The Evelyne, GP, etc are such great choices.

I have really mercilessly edited my collection down (and am continuing to do so) and the bags I will always keep are my special orders, so as far as H goes, at the moment I have slightly more "quota" bags - six Kellys (including mini K), three Birkins, one Evie PM, three Evies TPM, three GPs, and a Trim. The colors overlap, for instance I have a black B35, a black B30, and a black Garden Party PM. The GP is better for most work situations in my world (although I often use a backpack for work) but sometimes I'll want to carry a Birkin.

7 non-quota: Herbag, Lindy 26, Halzan, Jypsiere, two Constance 24

7 quota:one b35, two b30, two b25, one Kelly 28, gator KP

all bought from boutique
Forgot to add #7 non quota- Jige!

everything serves it’s purpose.Just waiting for my 3rd b25 SO and then 1 more b30 in beige neutral. if the b30 ever happens, I will let go of my halzan! Then all balance and purse peace is upon me!

At the moment, I have more quota bags (3x Kelly’s, a Kelly Cut and 2x Birkins) compared to non-quota (a L30 and a Mini Lindy). I love a lot of the Hermés colors and I try to purchase different colors and not overlap. I’m actually very happy right now with my quota bags (don’t really like the Constance) and would love to add a Mini Roulis next.

Hi experienced H veterans!

Newbie here! Just entered the slippery slope of the H realm for merely 3 months. I was wondering if anyone know how inventory is split between SAs for rarer items asides from BKC. For example rodeos - so I’ve been asking my SA to watch out for rodeos for me as I’m interested in getting one - especially one in a specific CW for a while now.

I know a girl on IG that also goes to the same boutique as me but has a different SA. Seems like she was able to get the exact same rodeo I had previously asked for.

I was wondering if anyone had an idea how splitting of inventory works? Or would it be more based on how long the client has been with the store/maybe she’s asked/waited longer than me or the relationship with the SA overall? From the sounds of her post it just so seems that the SA thought of her when the rodeo came in so I can’t say for sure whether she had previously requested it or not either. I know there may be many factors involved, but just also wondering if there is a process on how they split inventory.

Thank you!

Hi all, first time posting here and relatively new to the quota bag journey (was offered a lovely k25 in black box leather with gold hardware last year by my NYC SA after slowly building a relationship over half a year). I moved this year to a smaller city and am just starting to build a relationship w a new SA at the boutique here, and am hoping to get a b25. My question is if I get offered a b25 but decide to turn it down (eg not ideal specs), will it count as a used quota? I tried to be as specific as possible to my SA, but given it’s a smaller store with less selection (vs NYC), I didn’t want to be too particular. But if turning down a bag will still count toward the quota then I will def be very precise. Thanks for your help!

Nope, only purchased bags count. Good luck!

4 quota: K28, K25, B30 and B25
3 non-quota: Kelly Ado, Lindy 26 and Aline crossbody

(All from H store except one)

I try to keep my bag collection small and relevant to my needs so all of them work for me but I do find I reach for my quota bags more.

Your quota is exactly what mine would be like once I get all of mine! Would love to see pics of them all together :)

I only have 6 Hermès bags with a 7th coming tomorrow- was not offered a quota bag until I had purchased 2 non quota bags (Cabag and Evelyn). Offered a B for #3, then fell in love with the Garden Party! Going tomorrow to see about a Constance or Garden Party #3! I love the B so will likely grow my collection with another B. At some point it becomes clear which style you like, and I lean towards wearing an open B or GP tote style.

And I am not a fan of neutrals so I get weird color offers more than most! The store manager knows I like the out there colors so I think that effects my chances!
Can I ask which state your local store is in? Assuming you’re in the U.S.

Hi all! Newbie here, just got offered my 1st B last week.. and was wondering, if Husband purchases his watch with his own profile.. does it count towards his own bag quota if he's with me during the appointment? They know anyways who the bag is for... I'm in California btw..

yes its considered your husband's quota bag. I think this is pretty common (correct me if i'm wrong H veterans)....but many couples each have their own profiles and its understood that more often than not, your special one's quota bag is actually for you! i think a lot of people try to get more quota bags/year this way and the boutiques don't seem to care or mind. :)
