Question about Thompson street Vernis.. New to forum and to LV..

I am looking at a Bronze Thompson street Vernis bag. I have read about color transfer and straps getting water marks.. etc. Is this bag hard to take care of? Do I need to worry about sunshine fading the bag, or would I be so nervous taking it out? What has been your experience with the Bronze color?

Can't speak much on the Vernis except I heard the darker colors are much easier to care for and do not have as much color transfer. As for the Straps I personally spray with a leather protector to ease my mind, A lot of ppl here though do not and don't have any issues.
