Question about the Rolling leather rope on the handle

I saw the Bag / Club / 2009 / Grey on the eBay but the Rolling leather ropes on the handles are like Brick Red (burgundy) color.

Is this possible for Balenciaga 2009 to use the different color for the leather rope on the handle with the body color ?

As far as I know - NO

Sometimes the rope is darker or lighter but it is always in the same shade family.

Grey is no where near burgundy color - unless the bag had faded very badly
