Question about the Paddington

Ok, so I have never been a fan of the Paddington. Im not sure why.

But yesterday, I saw a picture of a Paddy with a front pocket or something..and I knew Ive had to have it. At least eventually when I might be able to afford it. Until then I want to start looking and drooling.

What year is it from? Is it still made? Where can I buy it?

This style, the pocket paddington, pops up on ebay quite a lot. It's a very roomy and really cool looking satchel. It first came out in '07, I believe, but some of the colors and leathers seemed to be from '06. It came in very lovely colors, ie; mousse, tan, brown, black and even a black with black hardware. Probably some other great colors as well. Very chic!

I really cant do pre owned bags but I will have to suck it up and look.

I tried to look for at the Chloe page but it only showed me the regular Paddies.

Unfortunately, they are only making the smaller version of the pocket paddington. In '07, they made two sizes. The larger size, (about 15 x 10) has two side buckles on the front of the bag, whereas the smaller version has the buckles on the sides. IMO, the larger size was much more attractive and more "satchel like."
