omg I know what you mean - ever since I was in college I wanted a convertible mustang and I finally went to go test drive one and when I got inside it was just sooo uncomfortable! :sad2:

Re the sending the speedy via the post flat; when I was in LV last week, a lady at the counter next to me purchased a speedy, and the sales assistant folded it flat, put it in the dust bag, and then a flat box. The speedy's are meant to be flat folded, so I wouldn't worry too much. They are so lovely I'm sure you'll love yours!

I have the 35 and 40 that came folded but I don't store them folded after I got them. I stuff them with sweaters I'm putting away for winter and I slide them into the drawstring dustbag. It fits! No more creases!!!

Does elux ship all their speedys folded flat? If I bought an epi speedy, would it come like that?

I love the idea of saving money on the taxes, but I also love love the LV boutique buying experience.....

I absolutely love Elux!!!! There are very friendly and helpful when I call with questions. Their delivery is very prompt and delivered on time. I am also a "VIP" customer with them so I get upgraded shipping and free returns. I love it when they have the free shipping promos and best of all no sales tax. I know that these are small amounts in comparsion to the price of the bags, but it's nice to know that they do offer those perks.

I recently received my monogram speedy 30 from Eluxury. It came in a black Louis Vuitton box and was folded in a dustbag that said "Louis Vuitton" (I guess they don't use the LV dustbags anymore). I heard that they don't give boxes at the LV boutiques...unless you ask for one. Two weeks later, I'm still trying to get rid of the creases. The creases aren't that noticeable when you stuff the bag with lots of stuff like I do!

Congrats on the purchase! I am hoping to get a speedy 30 soon, like in a few days. Is the box good for storing? :blink:
I really want to take care of my first LV piece! I am a struggling college student ya know? lol

They've stopped producing the LV dustbags awhile ago and the new ones are the one that spell out 'Louis Vuitton' in the lighter, more breathable fabric.

Black Louis Vuitton box? That's a first, my boxes have always been brown, sounds interesting.

Ohh and when you don't use your speedy, stuff it with t-shirts to rid the creases.

Ditto to what mello said. Stuff them up so it wouldn't crease. They fit in the dustbags!!!

I took off the lock to prevent it from pulling at the hole too much (I've seen some Speedies with the hole really wide cause the lock weighed it down for years).
