eLUX ships FedEx.....my orders have been sent from their Tennessee warehouse.

My first eLUX order was placed in the morning, processed that day, and shipped that afternoon...it took about 2 days to get to my house (I live in NH).

My second order was done on a sunday (FedEx only ships tuesday through saturday)...I got my bag on Thursday.

Personally, I would feel 100% better knowing I ordered from an authorized Vuitton seller, rather than someone on Ebay....plus the bag will be brand new!!! :smile1:

I love eLUXURY, order with them quite often. In fact I'm one of their VIP customers who get free upgraded shipping and free returns. My most recent order was placed on a Monday morning, was shipped that evening and arrived by Wednesday morning ...now that's what I call great service. Their SA's are wonderful and you have a 60day return policy thru eLUXURY where as you only have 14days thru LV boutiques. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed. In addition, they are own by LVMH. By the way, I also own the Speedy 30 which I had originally purchased thru eLUXURY quite a few years back. Love it, love it, love it ...great bag -can't go wrong. That's too bad. :cry: Speedy's photograph well....actually all LV bags do so they all look way better in pics then in person (in my opinion). I remember taking pics of my perfo, uploading them to my comp, and just thinking to myself "wow, the bag IS actually cute".:shame:

I know some department stores have LV sections (LV leases a space in the store) Research if your local Saks has one.....you really should see them in person. That speedy I returned was my first LV purchase and it would have completely turned me off to LV forever...but thankfully it didn't. :D

I am such a dummy....you can place an order and just return it if you don't like it. Elux credited me an additional $8 for me to return my speedy. You probably wouldn't lose a penny if you purchased it and then returned it.

heheh. well, i do love my speedy a whole heckava lot, but my new car is not so fab. its a subaru wagon and we are not getting along. i bought it in october and although i did appreaciate it in the snow this winter, i always feel like a mom...and not even a cool mom. i didn't want to buy a new car because i loved my beater volvo so much, but hubby made me. i see now that he was right, and my new car is nice enough (and infinately more reliable), but i miss my volvo so SO much. the soobie has NO get up and go and lots of tweaky little design flaws that drive me nuts. i can't wait to pay it off in two years and sell that sucker.

back on topic, here's my speedy. :) they do come folded flat and have crinkles...but i've been carrying it for a week and all the crinkles are gone. they also sag at the bottom if that's going to be a problem for you. you and kind of see it in the last photo (sorry about the quality...camera phone) i like it but it really bothers some people.

OOhh, I'm starting to wonder if I should get one now...it's alot of $$$, I would be very disappointed if I didn't like it once I got it.:oh:

some of my elux orders come in 2 days, some in 14 days - I think it depends on what thier inventory looks like - but it's so worth it - I love the pretty silver boxes and purple ribbons and reciepts that look like invitations. enjoy!!!

I think it depends on the size of what you order. I've ordered purses from Eluxury that have taken about 3-5 days after a 2 day processing, while a wallet I order took only two days to come.

Funny you should mention the whole mom car thing...I have a mom car ,a few...about a year ago or so, I finally got a car that I had wanted since I was 14...I got a white mustang...leather interior....ooh, it was so pretty, after I got it, I hated it!! I got used to comfort, and it was not comfortable...traded it off about 6 months later for another mom car.lol!:laugh:

omg everytime i post those photos i notice something else weird about my house! :) that dark spot under the blanket rack is so not there in person...i have no idea what caused it. and i really need a new couch. :)

eLuxury is great for customer service. I would go ahead and order the bag from them because they are always super nice (and that's really rare these days with most companies). You have 60 days to make up your mind about the bag. I just ordered a Speedy 30 from them two weeks ago. I placed the order on a Monday night. It shipped out on Wednesday and was at my door on Friday! Not quite instant gratification but still excellent considering that shipping was free and there was no tax! Trust me, I understand your reservations about the money. It's the most I've spent on a purse before too (I'm new to the Speedy club). You probably won't regret the purchase, however. Good luck. Let us know if you go through with it!
