Dina or Olivie

^ Heather, do you know if Camille still works at the BH boutique? I haven't been there in a while. Thanks!

Diana is also great, I think she's one of the managers. But you really don't need to be intimidated to go into the BH store, they're all really nice there! Have fun!

Thank you for the names. So Dina and Diana are different people. I am so name challenged, especially when there are similar names, I appreciate knowing that in advance.

Hi :)
I would like to order my first B. I don't got any H bag, just a few items (twillies, cliclac bracelets, a croc CDC...).
I'm from Spain. How should I do it? Any advice? thank you so much

Are all your purchases from the same sales associate? If so ask him or her about getting a B directly. He/She probably won't let you order a custom colour though, they save a quota of those for their VIPs.
If you have it narrowed down to a size and colour range just straight up ask your SA to let you know when they get one in. All the SAs get a chance to sell them so you have as good a chance as any one.
In the mean time keep checking in with your SA and making little purchases.
Good Luck!

I had gone into the SF store recently and was told there is no wait list and that it is nearly impossible to ever get one from that store. I was also told that they rarely get Birkins. Maybe at best, once a year. The SA that I spoke with said to go to Beverly Hills, NYC, Florida or Paris to increase my chances at getting a Birkin.

I don't think that's true about sf store and wondering which SA told you that. For sure sf store wont have as much as NYC or BH, but I dun think they only receive once a year.

I can't confirm if it is true or not. But that is exactly what she said. If you want her name, please direct message me. It is not appropriate to list her name on this forum. As for the store, I spoke to a Cashier yesterday to complain. The next time I visit, she said she will introduce me to a different SA that is more helpful when it comes to Birkins.

The SA in SF store is totally incorrect. I am currently living in Paris and it is very difficult to get a Birkins here also. The Hermes stores in Paris are currently not taking any names for a waiting list. The only way for you to get them is to come into the Hermes boutique daily and check them as they do get them in randomly.

I think the SF store tends to say things like this to people who come in asking for birkins and Kellys without any prior purchase history or relationship with an SA even though its not true. They are a little "weird" in that sense. I think that is just the way the management is at that store. I have seen people come in and ask and they try their level best to weed out those who only want a b or k. I think they really want the repeat customers. Just my two cents from my experiences there. I haven't got a birkin from there but I have purchased many other items from the same sa.

I once saw a customer come into the Cartier Store on Bond Street in London dressed in shorts and flip flops. He received impeccable service. I dont think anyone of us left with the impression he was poor. I say, each to his own....you dress up if you want, you dont dress up if you dont want to....à chacun son goût.

Maybe he is one of the regular clients and theSAs know he can spend?

I have to agree with most of the comments, about new customer treatment.... it is quite horrible. Im a guy and looking to buy a birkin for my wife as a surprise gift, and it has been quite hard... from reading this forum I can see it is impossible for me to ask for a bag unless they already have it at the store..... If I call the store would they tell me if there is any in stock or I would have to go personally? I can drive to the store at palm beach and miami... any recommendation from these stores?

thanks

I have seen many SAs react quite suspiciously towards guys asking for Birkins for their better halves because this has been a gambit often used by people who buy bags soley to sell on.

If you really want a Birkin for your wife then you are going to have to be a bit patient and you are going to have to help the SAs help you - what you want is in short supply whether you are a big spender or not.

Go to a shop and be honest about what you want and why you want it, tell them you are prepared to wait ( if you aren't you probably need to camp out for a few weeks in the Paris or New York store). Tell them what you know and ask for their advice. Be charming and desperate at the same time and make them want to help you. This is not the sort of thing you can do over the phone.

Hi Les Tambours

Furthering to what you mentioned...
Does it help if I bring my husband to the H store and he EVENTUALLY asks for a Birkins for me, a gift for his wife?
He is just bringing me there to choose a color and size..IF there were even a choice to choose...

TIA!
