becareful most this lavender bangle had been color polishing

Here pics under ... bangle had been color polishing

they all look so beautiful .. so hard to tell all those bangles had been color polishing @@ now i am scare to go buy jade bangle without certify !!!!

All? Holy smokes.

They are pretty and some of them look very pale/translucent... I wouldn't think of them as having color added. It really does make you wonder what they would fade out to look like and I wonder how long it takes? So slowly you don't notice or if worn daily would fade out fast?

i read from one article said color powder is toxic, when they apply those color powder on, worker had to wear a mask !!!

So i think those color polishing bangle is harmful for us if we have them, and second when color fade out, they must not look so good @@

Ok clairejune, my alexandrite set. Of course these were taken at night so it is a reddish purple but in daytime sunlight it is green. Not very good picture, sorry it is blurry. ( Clairejune, I deleted this picture because it was very blurry. I have posted a better picture below.)

Hi Claire, my girl loves jewellery. She has her own jewellery box with semi precious stones, e.g. amethyst, rainbow labradorite, and tanzanite (low grade). She has been eyeing my stuff. Lol!
I wish my daugher would love jewelry. She doesn't like anything I have. She says it is to gaudy. I guess I will have to give my jewelry to my granddaughters. I usually have my jewelry made by Alice my jeweler and my daughter doesn't like any of them. Bummers.

Petals, the only one who I know who sells top quality moonstones is Valerie Fairchild from Fairchild and Company here in Santa Fe. She is world class with all of her stones. I bought the bracelet and necklace with the briolette moonstones from her. She's expensive, but worth every penny because you will get the top quality. You may want to look at her website and contact her. I have bought many things from her including my sapphire ring, emerald ring, diamond reset, and many other things. Her gold work is superb and you get a lot of gold in each piece of jewelry from her. None of these light weight, pre fabricated settings. It's all hand made.

You could also look on the list of recommended vendors in the colored stone forum on pricescope. Each one has a website and you can contact them and ask. Moonstones are getting really hard to find, especially the clear, blue schiller ones. Good luck!

Thank You clairejune...you are right...I saw and fall in love with this moonstone ring...and dropped to the ground after I saw it's price...

Her pieces are unique and beautiful. Thanks for sharing that site with us. I guess I might have to look somewhere else for my moonstone...cuz hers are way over my budget. :smile1:

Ok ladies, here is what I wore today. The colors are washed out because it's dark and cloudy...bad lighting. There is a moonstone ring which is faceted. It doesn't have a blue schiller, but I like the contrast between it and the 24k gold. Also, Petals, here is a pendant from Valerie Fairchild. It's an aquamarine with a horse carved on the back side. Since it's the year of the horse, and it's moonstone like I thought I would include it...
