Here are the goodies that I brought home with me from Anne's store yesterday... I am not too fond of the design ... but I am drooling all over on those imperial green color jades...
OK ladies, today is a happy day! I got one of my new bangles and it's gorgeous!!! Totally grade A, flawless, vintage piece which I would have to pay many thousands for if new. I really think this is a winner.....my first princess round! My husband is holding it against the light for me. I'll take better pics when the light is better. It's a very translucent, (doesn't show well in pics )milky blue/green with 2 pink/yellow areas.

Thanks, Silver Mom. I'm overjoyed because it is always nerve racking to order something new from a new vendor. One hopes for the best and not some horrible, unpleasant surprise, like a huge crack or something. This time, it worked out really well.

Both of my jeweler friends told me that due to the high cost for jade...a lot of the dealers are hiding some of their stocks and put them on hold. They know that even if they can sell their jade jewelries with a good profit, they won't be able to restock them since jade is so hard to find nowadays...and when it's found...it would go with a big $ sign. So I guess there are more jades than we actually can see in some jade stores' display.. 
I think I have a bangle similar to this too... chinese vendor calls them the winter melon color jade, cuz it has yellowish brown, blueish green color...which looks like a winter melon...
It's sure is a fun color bangle...enjoy with great health!We basically glutted out the flooring to install the radiant heat under the new flooring on the downstairs and half of upstairs. Then we redo the whole kitchen. and the powder room...added more lighting..replace the shaky stair rail with an iron stair rail which I adorn. Just when we thought that we can put the draperies back onto the windows...we found out some didn't fit right anymore since we added some ceiling design on ..omg...and now, we ordered new draperies which suppose to come in by the end of Feb. LOL....we have been eating out for 7mos now..and finally I get to cook my instant noodle on my new stovetop. This whole 7 mos was like a roller coaster...ups and downs...and we are still dealing with the aftermath of all these..cuz my new chandelier is having issue. I suppose to call the company up to ask for a replacement....

Petals, I remember your winter melon bangle! That is one of my all time favorites! You're right, they are similar...kind of a frosty blue/green with a bit of cantaloup color. It's amazing the light changes in this one. I imagine yours does the same. It's a total water green right now, but if I hold it to the light, it becomes light blue. This is the most color shifty bangle I have besides the Yukon Snow.
