Yes it is mad crowded .. stock up on freshies for the kiddos . It will be like a ghost town . nothing open during cny maybe 7eleven ! :p

I think i was lucky to made it out alive !! Streets were swelling with more and more people . At some point i really felt like screaming at all the people trying jelly and peanuts stepping on my toes .. it was threathening to rain cats and dogs .. dark clouds looming a little where i was ...

I imagine it would be like this in penang chinatown too dear ?

Thanks for the advice on the carved . Got it today and showed it there a few pages ago . I m going to be good . hmm for the next few days :p

Bernie, never mind my nonsense...but happy for you it worked out. Hmmm... you are going to be good? All the chinese jade shops will be closed for the lunar new year...but others are still open, aren't they? All it takes is just one ;)

Congrats nyc princess! Lovely additions, i see. Sorry i don't know about the jojo links but heard they are closed till mid february for the new year holidays.
