It's going to be chinese new year in Singapore soon and I got busy making love letters ...since the mother in law and my mom prefer home made ones.... I have made 10 bottles it's kind of :amazed::amazed: hearing my mom tell me they finish eating half a tub with minutes in front of the TV when I take 2 hours to fill up 1 bottle !!!

I wish we can all come out and eat some of these and talk about jade bangles haha

Tiffins - belated congratulations fro fern and moss . They are very beautiful , I m always a green in white gal at heart and I love your twins to bits !! Do u have trouble which one to wear ?

Silvermom , dynasty and faithgrace. I m still reeling over your violets ! My god ... you are all queen of violets .. I trie dto browse the DT site but there's not many bangles in my size ( pretty small ) and I m so tempted to get another lavneder after seeing yours . Faith grace May I know where did u get your lavender pendant from and how much does it cost . I Love that shade of soothing lilac ..

Clairejune - Love the indian bangles and jade bangle look ..And I m glad your made yoursel fthe owner of that translucent bangle on etsy . I don't think it would be possible to buy one like that for that price so easily anywhere in Singapore for that translucence . Looking forward to when u get your hinged blue one .

Germanshepard - The carved bangle looks yummy , but the ball like carving is slightly obtrusively , otherwise i love that shade of lavender with swirls of green cloud . I m looking forward to one that should be arriving home with my MILfro m hk in a couple of days .

To be honest , i m a little averse to carved ones , those that comes with dragons phoenix , peaches ruyi-s .. the grand works ... But if the carving is quite minimal then i'd joy in wearing a piece of art .

The bangle on ebay looks inviting so is the price as well . It looks liek grade A as clairejune suggested but have u email the seller for more pictures, description of stonelines /flaws if any ?

Berniechocolate, those kuih kapit looks yummy. The crisp. Yummy.... I know it's hard word. You need to fold them while hot and not many can do it nowadays.

Agree with the rest that the carved bangle is somehow out. As for the ebay one, the description states no stone and flaw line. We will see. :smile1:

Hope to see your new bangle your MIL helps to get by Chinese New Year.

No need to place orders dear! Home made ones are sugar eggs flour and coconut milk . Cheapies .. All u need is a love letter hot pan and a good recipe .... I will be glad to share the recipe if you want to try your hand at making these for your princesses!

God's speed for tomorrow yes?! Haha sometimes jade karma works in mysterious way.. Maybe u bring home the bangle of your dreams . Don't get too stressed wondering which one to buy .. That's what happens when I have too many enticing bangles to look at!

Yum! I love those and I had no idea what they were called. I think that's one of the best thing about living in Hawaii. There are so many different cultures that you get the best of a lot...especially food!

I have 2 small princess bangles coming from UJ. I love my Princess, so I'm seeing about getting her company. lol

I browse back a few pages and saw those cabochon earring you like from Tiffany 's. Saw that Tiffany's has a perettii line with jadeite heart necklace ? Pretty awesome they are selling jade too I m curious to whether if it's jadeite or nephrite too....

Chinese New Year in Singapore means they jacked up the price for many things ... Including new year snacks... I would rather make some of my own ... Save some $$$ for more jadeite... I will find time to try get my shih tzu to wear a Cheong Sam to wish u and mochi a happy new year soon... Mean while keep those pictures of your violet coming... It's such an awesome color.
