Daisy, when you use it, do it in the dark. Close the curtains or blinds, turn off the lights. Maybe in a dark closet. It's much easier to see everything in the dark. You don't need protective glasses, just never look directly into the light as this will damage your retinas in your eyes. If you put the jade on a counter or floor and shine the light on the jade, you will be fine.
Breadngem, I would be protective of that bangle too because you are right about not being able to get something like it unless you spend $$$$. It's gorgeous, truly.

Ok ladies, here is my jade and indian bangle look! You can see the bangles are close to my arm size so I don't know how I'll get them off! It was a kind of weird challenge to see if could get that tiny size on.....
Daisy, your cat is such a character. He looks like he has some Siamese in him because of the face shape. I had a white cat who had a very similar face and very long limbs. He was a character too and was part Siamese. When my older kids were young and would throw tantrums with screaming, he would come running in the room, give them a gentle but scary bite (sometimes on the back of the neck! But he never hurt them.) He would then run away before I could catch him. I still laugh about it because I'm sure he was just as annoyed with the screaming as I was, and he wasn't afraid to show it! His name was Lamont.
Thanks Tiffins! It's lots of fun too. The good thing is that the metal of these bangles is very soft and so I'm sure they will not harm the jade. Makes me feel like a witchy woman!

Faithgrace, yes give it a day or two to get to know them. Jade is always different in person then it is in pics. Even when the colors are accurate, given that they are chameleons, there is the energy of the jade, how they change in the light source. We must keep an open mind when buying online PERIOD. It's best to try to see the bangle for what they are rather then some idea we had. THEN decide if we like them or not.Bl
