I wonder how similar it is to the Inkwell that the small Penelope comes in. The inkwell was a little bit lighter then I would like. The new colors are much better, but I will get a black one!
I find the Inkwell to be a dark navy, it almost looks black in some lighting and I feel like Dark Indigo is gonna be more blue like the Ocean Blue from the Cedar Street collection. I'm definitely adding the Arla in Dark Indigo to my list though!
Not yet but I think it's a colour they had in some pieces from last month's collection too, right? It does look gorgeous though with the gold hardware[emoji7]

So do you think Dark Indigo is a little brighter navy?
Also, have you seen Emerald irl? Is it more green than it is online? It looks kind of like a dull emerald online. I want something richer and a little more green. If that makes sense?
Colors can be so tricky online. Someone had an Emerald one on ebay and the color looked more like what I would want. I'm just loving both these colors and this bag! [emoji7]
On the site, they have the Cedar Street Jensen in Indigo and in Ocean Blue - flicking between the two colours, Indigo looks darker while Ocean Blue looks brighter if that makes any sense. Unfortunately I haven't seen Indigo or Emerald from this month's collection in store.
Also to anyone looking at the Arla, it's been marked down by about 30% in all colours on the website!
I really want one, but I'm concerned about reports here about the gold letters rubbing off on other Kate bags.
I've owned my fair share of bags which have the standard printed logo and I've never had an issue with it fading. That being said I don't use the same bag everyday or even the same wallet but I also don't "baby" my bags. They also have really good CS but definitely bring up your concern with your SA to see what course of action they'd take if that were to happen.
I wonder if the Deep Indigo is a different color from the Indigo. I remember seeing a Cobble Hill Ella that was an Indigo (exact name?) and had a purplish tinge too it depending on the light-loved the color. Hoping the Arla would be similar.

This is prompting me to think about this bag again. I have an extra 15% code that KS gave me as a thank you for messing up an order. It was working when I tested it out another time, but when I tried yesterday it didn't. I wonder if they exp? I'm just wondering if they will have an extra % (25?) off sale items for Thanksgiving/Black Friday and if this bag will still be on sale to use the code.? Ks is the only place that I have found that has Deep Indigo.I second this for KS bags.
