Does Box as a push offer vary from country to country? My store orders Box at podium. I just had this discussion with my SA as I am expecting my wish K25 Box to arrive and my SA said it was ordered and confirmed by Paris.

This is interesting. I am in the US and also had the discussion with my SA earlier this year. I've been waiting for a B35 in box leather since March 2024. We were hoping to get it by the end of 2024, but in early November 2024, my SA told me that the store would not get any QBs in box leather by the end of 2024 (and they did not).

Earlier this year, my SA told me that "my" B35 in box leather will arrive soon this year. The other SA (i.e., not my SA) in the same store also confirmed that the store is expecting to get lots of QBs in box leather in March/April-ish.

So, I think, to some degrees, the stores/SAs may know (or expect) that bags in box leather would be available soon.

PS. I am quoting, "your Birkin 35" from my SA. But, I am aware that this is not mine until it is in my hands. For instance, if a new client (without any history) comes to my store spending $300K, builds a strong, strong SA relationship, and asks for the same bag that I want, I would never get it and that bag will go to that client (even if my SA and SM know that this is the bag I truly want and have been waiting for). But, this would be the worst scenario. I hope my comment is helpful.

I'm honestly having a hard time thinking of a blue box that IS a push offer, aside from some B20s, lizards, and other top top tier bags. In-and-out, bolide on wheels, shadows, cargos, micro picotins, anate, bags with medors on them, one two three away, sunrise/sunset, 3-in-1, some picnics...all podium orders. They also can change status from season to season. Then you have bags like box and barenia which ARE push items but not blue box. Blue box has never meant push offer, it's just a bag that Hermes is proud of or considers delicate and thinks deserves that extra celebration.

The picnic K is a push offer currently. It started as podium. Please see the correction made by @Meta.

This has been discussed before. Just because the SM cannot specifically order, let's say, a B25 in Noir Box PHW at podium, does not mean they don't know they will receive one. Box, Barenia, Picnic, etc. can be expected and can be (tentatively) reserved for a client.

They know a few weeks before they get the surprise items. In the distant past, I was once shown that printout and was offered to pick one from the list.

And I can imagine that the store keeps a short list of people wishing for those items. And as a result, it is “tentatively” reserved for a client.

ETA: The stores also expect to get more of those surprise items during certain times of the year. The time varies by store.

This isn't a push offer item. I enquired with my SA and it's believed to be a Horizon item.

Only the initial Kelly Picnics (Rouge de Coeur, White, Jaune de Naples, Vert Verone, Gold and Barenia) were available to order at Podium. The following batch and all Birkin Picnics are push offer bags.
