Since purchasing more expensive purses, I've become a lot more cautious about how I treat them. So I decided to get a purse hook! Haven't used it yet and not quite sure how often I'd use it, but just wanted to share! It's so compact and cute! ImageUploadedByPurseForum1430617396.769197.jpg

What's the diff between the cheaper and more expensive clippa?

The Traveler Clippas have a textured finish and look more distressed. To me, the texture looks like what you see when you find a piece of metal that was in the street and got run over for a while. The surface is well finished with color, so they do wear well and won't damage your bags. These may not show wear from use as much as the shiny ones.

The original Clippas have a finish more like jewelry, and some of the styles have more expensive coating or stones. These really do look like jewelry if you are going to wear it on your wrist when you aren't hanging something from it.

I have both styles of the metal (no stone) Clippas and would recommend them to anyone. They are both the same size. I use them when I travel and they will hold a lot of weight. They are especially good when you want to avoid bathroom cooties in a public restroom that doesn't have any hooks on the stall doors.

I have found any other use for mine in the winter my coat. I carry 2 & love them. :D

You can buy purse clips on Amazon, the Swarovski crystal ones are very pretty. I gave red to my mom, blue sister, purple friend, and I have pink. They look very attractive. But it doesn't accommodate thick tables and now that I have kids and use high chairs, in tiny NYC restaurants the bag keeps bumping into my knee and falls. You can use it only if there is more space around the table. I feel silly sometimes taking it out, but it is a big help if you don't want to put your expensive purse on the floor. It is also not good for thick handles.
