Purple bags, Can they be used year round? Anyone own any?

Deep purples are like black bags, I think, but with more pop. They can be used all year round, IMO, especially if you use it for the office.

I just got my first purple bag:
A Rebecca Minkoff Purple MAM!!!
I love it so much and actually think the color is a nice neutral and I plan to use it year round. It is a dark purple, though. I agree with the other posters that if it is a light purple or lavender, it may be only for spring/summer.

I would love to find the perfect purple bag to carry around. I think it's a great color for fall but it can also be worn all year round. I love deep plum purple colors in general

I think purple can generally be used year-round unless it's pastel, and even then it might work with the right outfit. But I'm a huge purple fan, so I may not be the best one to comment.

The new Balenciagas in Sapphire are amazing! I wish I could afford one; they look almost like a good tanzanite or Ceylon sapphire--such a gorgeous purple-blue.

I think it depends on the shade. I wouldn't wear lilac in the winter, but I think the medium and deeper shades can be worn year round. I have a HH Lorca in Eggplant (which is a medium shade) that I wear throughout the year. And there are several other purple bags I'm dying for, including the Jordan Satchel in Amethyst! I think purple is very versatile and more interesting than the standard neutrals.

I'm thinking about purchasing a purple bag (MJ), but have never worn a purple bag before... not sure if I really have clothes to actually "match" a purple bag considering purple is a bold color... but do you think its more of a summer/spring/fall/winter type of bag or could it be meant for all year round?
