Purple bags, Can they be used year round? Anyone own any?

I am turning 50 this year, so a purple bag to use year round is a must have ! (to go with the poem - when I am old, I shall wear purple)

I love purple bags and I think the deeper tones are perfect for year round. I used to have a violet Balenciaga which I have since sold and it was gorgeous with everything. I still have my wink exclusive violet Foley & Corinna tote though and I love it.

I love that poem. My great grandmother (who took up painting when she turned 80) and my mom used to read that to me when I was younger.

I'll be 40 next year and think a purple bag is a great bag for any age, any season! I have a small purple bag and a few purple clutches, but am still waiting for the perfect larger purple bag.

I love purple it is my favorite color. I think you can carry it all year long imo its color that has different shades and they go all year with almost anything.I dont have any purple bags at the moment but i loved at some yesterday too.

I voted year-round but I also think it depends on the shade of purple. I have a grape (dark purple) Boogie Bucket on pre-order right now. I plan on treating it as a "basic black" bag.

i have a purple/plum coach belted ergo flap bag that i bought last year. i love it...the color goes with almost anything!

Well IF I get the bag tomorrow, I'll definitely post pics... I hope its the Hillier Hobo because it looks identical to what the Hillier Hobo looks like!

I have the Hillier in black. If I had known a purple option was available, I would have waited. I tend to view purple as a fall/winter color, but I don't think it would be out of place in spring/summer.

I think it's an all year round kinda color. Besides that, if you LOVE it- then why not wear it all year round!

Pretty much all of my bags are color. I think you can get away with most colors year-round. I might not carry yellow in the winter...but then again I might! I really don't think it matters all that much!
