PS1 medium - royal blue vs peacock blue?

Hello everyone, I've been lusting after a PS1 medium in a blue color but need help deciding. I love the deep blue of royal blue with the gold hardware. I was initially turned off by the teal hue that I've seen in some peacock blue pictures, but I've also seen pictures where it looks quite close to royal blue. Does anyone have either of these colors and have some real life pictures they could post?
Also, do I need to worry about color transfer or do something to protect the leather?

My large peacock, definitely not as teal as the pictures seemed to be. I find it to be a very neutral blue

I have this bag in peacock too, the name is quite deceiving, I don't see any teal in my bag. I actually haven't used mine yet so I can't comment on the color transfer.
