Products you don't feel comfortable wearing

Definitely lipstick. I feel every time I try and wear it, it results in my mouth looking really big and giving my skin a pale tone. Although I have tried to use light colors, it simply makes my makeup look unnatural and unappealing.

False eyelashes, and I also can't curl my lashes with those tongs, they terrify me!

Blusher I sometimes get horribly wrong as well, so Ive put myself off that a bit even though I'm told my makeup application skills are fairly good.

- Dark lipstick, I look like I could be in a horror movie.
- Red lipstick, I actually like the look but am just afraid it is 'too much' and I will get stared at.
- Dark eye make up (too much mascara, yikes. lots of eyeshadow etc. ) it just doesn't look good on me.
- Fake eyelashes
- Colorful make up like green or purple eyeshadow, pink lips etc.

I pretty much like nude colors only on my face.
Ladys, ladys. I am 76 & I have worn it all & loved it all. A dear gay friend hairdresser told me 50 years ago: "the secret to makeup is put it on & then lightly wipe it off. Then you know you never have too much on & you look like yourself, just BETTER.!" Worked for me.

Lipgloss. I feel like it looks either too juvenile or too sexual, I'd much rather have a matte lipstick

Hahaha. I feel exactly the same way, but never vocalized it. Yes, I agree, lipglosses are way too sexual. I don't know why people wear them, I wear plenty of lipsticks in matte, in pearl, in shine. And isn't it enough? Why the additional lipgloss? Don't understand.

Foundation, any kind of bronzer or contour products and mascara. I dont like wearing lipstick but I need some colour somewhere so put a bland one on then half rub it off again.
