Wishing them the best. I was thinking about the challenges of figuring out how to involve her fiancé's child in their life with the royal family, but then I thought of how Crown Princess Mette-Marit and CP Haakon of Norway seem to have done a great job with this.
I think Beatrice can be very motivated. I remember when she got all kinds of unfair negative press at a young age for a bikini photo, and she responded in a very positive way, got really fit and went on to run the London Marathon, something very impressive I think. She also got all kinds of flak for the infamous "toilet hat" for William and Catherine's wedding, and then went on to auction it for charity at upwards of $130K.
Having unique looks is a good thing - who wants to blend in with everybody else? That works for a while as a kid, but striking looks win out in the end, I think.
Kudos to her for marrying whom she wants, and to the royal family for entering the 21st century.
