I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Once I had an African-American gf who told me that the late HMTQ knew what Catherine was trying to do with having 3 kids i.e. pushing Harry and any Invisikids that he may have further down the LoS. Due to that, the late HMTQ stopped Catherine getting pregnant after Louis. I was like what in the actual F. I was speechless nonetheless

The MIL was my friend’s, who is the pregnant lady. My friend’s husband has moved here and is now a US citizen. He couldn’t care less about the royals, but his mom was very enthusiastic.
We did agree on the fact that Queen Elizabeth was a gracious, wonderful woman who was always dignified and never had a scandal.

I feel she was insinuating the BRF were suggesting it would be a problem if Archie actually looked black. Which is quite a nasty thing to spread if untrue, and I really have a hard time believing that was the background of the conversation because it's so pointless. Poor Caroline of Brunswick had a point though - she was his recognised wife and the mother of his only legitimate child why shouldn’t she be there?
I mean he was a scumbag bigamist and philanderer so I think she got done wrong- he was also nowhere near as cute or loveable as Hugh Laurie in Blackadder for sure.

Contrast with H and his incredibly minor wife who are meant to have given up his royal position but are still allowed to lord it over everyone.
