I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

My impression of both alleged pregnancies is that Harkle-friendly media trumpeted that she was "heavily" pregnant all nine months. Did anyone actually do a photo timeline of the 9 months to show progression of the pregnancy? I've seen partial timelines for the first pregnancy showing how her belly contracts and expands within hours or days or weeks.

And the tight-lippedness regarding her pregnancy and birthing experiences is indeed a red flag. Hey, maybe she is saving the big expose for a book! "Mothering with Meghan: Your Ultimate Guide to Building Family Wealth"!

Remember how during the jubilee we were wondering where Archie was and why only one photo was released of Little Bit for her birthday? It wasn’t until the Netflix show was released this past December where we found out that they were saving it all for their show. They literally brought their Netflix crew to the jubilee.

Anyway, here’s what the baby’s party they skipped the jubilee festivities for looked like. Lemon and elderflower cake for everyone! Because babies just love their elderflower cake. :rolleyes:

The Duchess of Sussex expressed her concerns about unconscious bias in the Royal family in a letter to the King, The Telegraph can reveal.
It is understood that the correspondence was sent in the wake of the March 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview, in which the Duchess alleged that a member of the Royal family had speculated about the colour of her unborn son’s skin.

Then Prince of Wales, he is understood to have expressed sadness over the chasm that had emerged between the two sides of the Royal family.

He is said to be disappointed that the Duke and Duchess felt the need to make such high-profile and damaging allegations.

In the interview, the Duchess told Winfrey that there had been “concerns and conversations about how dark his [Archie’s] skin might be when he’s born”.

A source claimed that the letters make clear the identity of the senior member of the family who made the comment.

It is understood that both the King and the Duchess acknowledged that the individual’s remark was not made with malice and had been considered an innocuous observation.

The Duchess is believed to have thanked the King for his words. The Duchess’s letter is also said to suggest that she had never intended to specifically accuse the individual involved of being a racist, but was raising concerns about unconscious bias.

However, it is understood that she does still consider the comment to be racist…

If that source is saying that the Duchess feels that she has not received a satisfactory response then I would say the source is the Duchess herself. This is pushing the edge of the envelope trying to remain in the pubic eye. It is still playing the victim card too.

So this was sent in 2021. She is using this as an excuse for not attending the coronation 2 years later? She could have used it as an excuse not to attend the Jubilee and The Trooping last year. Additionally, trying to use this as an excuse not to attend other than the one that everyone is aware of i.e. she and Harry have been insulting The late Queen, the The King, Prince William/Catherine and the family and the monarchy?.Those are reasons enough for her not to go. Oh and the fact that the public would boo her.

Gee. I hope The Telegraph prints her letter so she can sue them.

ETA: Meghan will continue to lob bombs at the Windsors up to the point that her husband makes an appearance at the coronation and the two of them will resume 5 minutes after he leaves. Based on this alone, the two of them should never have been invited. It just proves how vindictive they are. It is killing her that she won't be the star the May 6th

Yes, MM is loaded and ready to fire. She had to dig through her files [2 years, heck of grudge to carry] to find this lil treasure so we can expect her vengefulness to get much worse. She may be signalling the BRF that she is ready to name the person - we can all guess who it will be :whistle:

They are upset by Charles's delay in making the princely titles official from an institution that, it is understood, TW "still considers the comment racist". If that wasn't enough, they want to have the same perks as the future King and Queen who work daily for the monarchy while they are living a celebrity life in California. :no: I feel sorry for their kids, children are not to blame for the parents they have. :sad:

"The Palace is also aware of the Sussexes’ frustration that initial email correspondence about the Coronation made no reference to their children and their potential involvement. The omission only fuelled their feeling that their family plays second fiddle to the Waleses.

Following the late Queen’s death, the Duke and Duchess confirmed that they would like their children, Archie, three, and Lilibet, one, to use the Prince and Princess titles they had automatically inherited.

But the Palace’s delay in recognising the children’s elevated status caused frustration, not least as the Prince and Princess of Wales’s titles, and those of their children, were swiftly changed upon the late Queen’s death."

Still harping on the invisikids and the coronation? The absurdity of a 2 and 4 year old being able to take part in such a colossal event. This is such an obvious smokescreen for their own ambitions. It has never been about the children. It has always been about the parents and what they want. They cooked the goose for their children by not taking them to England and having them spend time with the cousins. The children's titles are meaningless. What are they going to do with them in the US? The only thing they are good for is what their parents are going to do with the titles in their merchandising opportunities, and they will do it and sully them at the same time.

Frustration no doubt because merching plans had to be put on hold.

I feel strongly about these two insults to humanity, to the point that if I knew someone was their supporter, I would review any proposal to promote that person to a managerial position as it would be proof in my opinion that the person lacked critical thinking skills.
