I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Funny the world we live in these days. I know, BRF has well-run, powerful PR machines etc but how can we think of this couple as evil, esp Kate who is often made the scapegoat by the sugars? We see the same videos but sugars see Kate as evil and I see M as evil.

Of course I don’t know them personally but these people look like any other public figures going about their duties as required. No whining, no lying, no scheming, unlike the other duo. They do a good job modernizing the monarchy and highlighting important causes.

Which brings me to my opinion that BRF is in a difficult place. As an institution, they need to be careful in this strange time. Like any other institutions or companies, they have to embrace' wokeness'. Imagine the spin in the media and by the sugars if BRF strips H of the title and banish H&M to obscurity.

I disagree on how BRF or KC seems to bend backwards for them but I can understand their position. I think if they continue to appease the two idiots and break their own rules to please them, BRF as an institution should just cease to exist. But optics is everything these days. They have to appear woke.

I think too much plastic surgery actually ages people. Plus, it's HARD WORK to keep coming up with spam headlines and sweet nods and figuring out the next duplicitous action!

A lot of people have thyroid issues. You'd have to have thyroid psychosis to start to begin to explain her craziness.
I don't think we can blame her thyroid for chewing people up and spitting them out once she's done with them either.

I'm amazed to see there's so many of us here. Nana Akua was on DM today talking about how weight gain is your own fault for stuffing your face. Maybe in part but I think this opinion piece was a rare miss for Nana. She completely forgot those who genuinely struggle with maintaining ideal weight because of health issues.

I agree she was very swollen and quite heavy after Archie, her waist is gone for good and her boobs looked quite saggy in that red Carolina Herrera. But also, I can't make sense of the belly that did all kinds of stunts an actual bodypart wouldn't do, and the fantastic birth stories in Spare do not help. Most of the time I think she carried Archie after lab-engineering him and used a fake belly for more attention, then rented a womb for the girl, but who knows.

I think Trevity-Trev-Trev knows her to the core and wants to stay as far away from her as possible. Kind of like trying to avoid the Eye of Sauron, he does not want to draw her attention to himself.

He's remarried, has a lovely wife and at least one child himself, and has a real Hollywood producing career. He doesn't want the headlines if he started talking and then have to deal with Meg and her hired PR people (and sugars) coming after him. If she does write her own "memoir" one day and isn't kind to him, well, all bets would be off then. He could damage her significantly as they were together for 10 years and he probably knows a lot about her, Doria, her father and her siblings (which is why she'll continue to stay silent about him).

Side note: He has to be laughing so hard at her and Harry's attempts to become big-time Hollywood producers with their collective zero years of experience in writing, directing or producing content.

OMG :lol: That might just be the best description ever.

Re: Trevor, he seems like a sensible guy. What did he see in her? His parents never warmed to her (but also, what did she do that Cory's mother is her biggest fan?).
