I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I don’t respect anyone who takes a job they aren’t qualified for. Least of all when he’s told the Brits to stump up 50 million (more than the Queen’s ceremony) to salve his inferiority complex.

Too many of those types around at every level of society. I've got one of them sitting in front of me - quite an eyesore. The sad thing is, this woman used to be quite good at her job. But she didn't progress with the times. She stagnated and became a relic of the past. She is holding on to her job now because her current supervisor has known her for decades and is still giving her second chances.

Absolutely, it's hard to respect people who take jobs they aren't qualified for. As @xincinsin put it, they can be found at all levels of society. This is one of the reasons many of us don't like the Harkles. They are 2 talentless, lazy nincompoops making a lot of money at the expense of others, while so many talented, hardworking people are desperately fighting for an opportunity. On a lighter note, I nearly spilled my coffee imagining @xincinsin sitting across from an idiot.

Charles always struck me as weak. Plus entitled, selfish, fussy, a “woe is me” attitude (where do you think Haz got that from?) and very indecisive. One of the royal reporters described him as Eyeore from Winnie the Pooh!

He is not popular in my country at all.

Everyone has a mental image of what being a prince or a king means to them. Charles doesn’t fit anybody’s ideal for those titles. Now if you asked me who would be the perfect librarian, Charles would get my call.

I saw that in my feed. Refused to click. The photo is from the trip where she wore the horribly expensive Dior bedsheet which detailed her underwear lines.

As soon as I saw this, I thought "right, I wouldn't buy this now". Not that I'd buy it, anyway, £10 will buy necessary items, but to include the Harkles will definitely tank sales, I'd have thought.

The Coronation, in respect of royals, is for working royals, not back-stabbers like The Harkles. The group photo dates back to 2018, apparently, which says it all.

l agree with this. Charles can have H&M´s pictures by his bedside table as far as l´m concerned but to put them in this, for a state event? Really?

He's not even holding the flowers! If you've watched the video you can clearly see the bouquet is in M's hand. Where would he even get such flowers anyway? Clearly someone would hand them to him but if you look closely, he's moving his right arm right when he's supposed to hand the flowers to TW and you can see it's M handing herself flowers. The kid is not even looking at her!
