Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thread

I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Thanks for reading.

Oh page six..did MM write this for you?

In the article, David Olusegun, founder of Creative Control Ventures (who?) remarked "Meghan could partner with brands that align with The Tig's mission and values to create sponsored content."

Let's see what her mission is, because that would set direction for what she talks about. The same article also says: "Not only would The Tig be a space for her to vent her views..." If "vent her views" means more complaints about how she was a victim of BRF largesse, then I would just
So whatever brands she partners with are ones I would avoid since I disagree with the Tig’s mission and values. Her “mission” will be to glom on to whatever cause du jour she thinks will garner her the most publicity very much the way her Arse-wipe Foundation has operated so far and her vision will encompass saying and doing anything that will earn her the most money. She’ll lecture us and pontificate about things she knows little to nothing about subjecting us to an endless stream of word salad. Her credibility is so non-existent at this point, she couldn’t sell me water in the desert!

Mm is putting Archie’s bday first , good for her
Scenario 1: Zed does not go
In 10 years' time when Merchie is an angsty teen, she wails: Do you know what I gave up for you? I could have been the King's favourite daughter-in-law! But I gave that up to be your mother! I missed his coronation for your sake! And you deny me this small favour? How could you?!!!!"

Scenario 2: Zed turns up
Mid-May 2023 when Sparry is moping, she shrieks: "I gave up everything for you: my Hollywood career! My figure! My fame! I was a star! I even went to your horrible father's coronation just to support you! I was booed! I wanted to die of humiliation! How dare you blame me for anything! Everything is your fault!"

Scoobie doo said that H will only attend the Abbey
Yes, surely there is a lunch, cocktail party, dinner etc but it looks like H will ignore all of that

With all of his todger talk and other embarrassing/shameful stuff from his book that most everyone has seen by now, how mortifying to show up anywhere knowing people are giggling at you behind your back.

He‘s got big balls to show up at any public event, let alone this. Thank goodness for William because Charles must be so embarrassed by Harry.

I was wondering if there will be a coronation ball in the evening like the presidential inaugural balls in the US.
