I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Because that would require a brain, morals, and a work ethic, all of which H lacks. H was never the sharpest knife in the drawer and has probably fried what few brain cells he was born with through his ongoing drug use. He’s a self-entitled buffoon who thinks everything should be handed to him on a silver platter merely because he was born a Prince.

Don't think he sees his life as "post-royal". Didn't the Harkles play some semantic game at one point about what they did was "step back" and not "step down"?

If the dire duo was really planning to live the high life as the Royals of America, I can believe it of Sparry because he is a dim bulb who has been babied all his life. But Zed? She is American. Shouldn't she know that the US would not welcome being lorded over by foreign royals? Or does she think that being a "duchess" makes her this rare creature on the same level as a carnie trumpeting that you should see the bearded lady at the carnival? (Now I am envisioning Zed as a grey mare with a carrot on her forehead, and her PR mouthpiece trying to convince us that she is a unicorn :rolleyes: )

Sorry, I’m thinking [fantasizing] ahead to KC&QC removing those titles, negotiating a renunciation of LoS and CoS from H$M [money talks]. Then, they’ll go away :thinking:

Too lazy. Not smart enough, though many of them are not brain trusts. He could have just gone with the role that the courtiers carved out for him and had a good life.

Unless those negotiations are made public, the whiney babies are going to cry that they were steamrolled into the renounciation. Sparry had no qualms spinning his own tales about what happened at Sandringham (my bruvver yelled at me! :crybaby: ).

I say, if KC is going to remove titles or drop them from LoS & CoS, do it without compensation and weather the stans' wrath. Why compensate a couple of bullies/charlatans/dolts/whiners when you know they never ever live up to their end of the bargain no matter how much money you throw at them? They want to be Kink and Kween of the Universe.

She was absent when the Mayflower voyage, the Boston Tea Party, Paul Revere and his night ride and similar history was taught in school. Or thought that part of the history books was a work of fiction, not fact.
