Prince Harry and Meghan Markle thread

I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Thanks for reading.

Looks like a seam... Also looks like someone pointed it out to her and she was not happy to hear it.
If she's actually wearing maternity clothes, there is often a stretchy panel at what would be the waistband to fit over the bump. I suppose there could have been a seam on that panel, but it seems like a pretty bad design flaw if it did have a seam in front that goes over the bump. I wore cheap maternity clothes (e.g., Target and Old Navy) and none of them had a center seam on the panel. I can't imagine Meghan's likely-pricey clothes wouldn't be at least as well constructed as maternity jean shorts from Target or Old Navy.
But my default reaction with anything H&M-related is "Who knows with these two?"

I agree that she probably doesn’t want to risk bringing the kids to the UK at this point but They’ve left the kids at home with the nannies and Doria before while they gallivanted off to the Invictus games and other events so I don’t see concern for the kids stopping her from taking advantage of the opportunity for multiple photo ops at the coronation.

and yet they wanted the toddlers as part of the ceremony only what seems like minutes ago

I've never been pregnant but I have had family members in the business of baby/children's/mother-to-be clothes. Jeans, trousers and shorts that have a stretch panel over the stomach area are usually ribbed or elastane and made to be especially stretchy and comfortable.

Unless the zipped-fly is mock, her shorts seem to be reg jean's style and put on under the tummy, unless the 'zip-fly' extends all the way up over the tummy to the breast.

My guess is it's a mic wire that is clipped somewhere higher. And that has been my area (not as a spy  ) She probably has a power pack in her front pocket or tapped to her waist (someone can check it out in the recording) usually it's at the back

I'm like :wtf: !

Harry calls Doria "Grandma"
Harry says "That's why I got married"
Harry ushers out a dag and says "Let's go family"
All for an Easter egg hunt for no children or one 2 year old.

That wasn't reality TV, that was travesty TV

Deranged, deluded, beyond help!

What the very F!
It’s always a sham with them. Archie wasn’t even 2 when it was filmed. They would be lucky if he focused on picking up one egg before he lost interest. Maybe that’s why there’s no sign of him, his performance didn’t follow the script.

Who is the “they” Meghan refers to when she’s dictating how the eggs will be placed. Are we supposed to believe she opened the security gates and allowed the children of Montecito to come in and hunt for eggs? As if. She must be referring to Archie and the moonbump.

The only amusing part is Harry saying “that’s why I’m married.” He actually seems to prefer not having to think for himself and letting her do all that for him.

Pretty sure those aren’t real eggs. The dogs would have ambled along behind them, eating them as they went, if they were.
I'm probably reading into it but I thought when he asked her if whatever was right and she agreed, her tone was condescending....like talking to a child - "yaas dummie"

My take: she wants to keep the kids in the US, doesn’t want to risk them not being let out of the UK if she takes them to the coronation. It also wouldn’t surprise me if she sends Harry away and then breaks the news of a divorce/separation petition.
It wouldn't surprise me if she decided to go but is declaring the opposite, then emerges from the private jet at Heathrow as a "Surprise! It's MEEE Again."

After all, she believes herself to be some unknown god's gift to humankind.

I don’t think she’ll miss the party of the decade. She might miss (if she’s invited) Williams coronation but for this one she’ll def be there.
I wouldn't bet on TW being invited to Will's coronation. There's a good possibility that she'll 'change' her mind at the last minute and join Harold for Charles's coronation imo. It's just because it's a historic event.

It was stilted and unnatural. Like they had already performed it several times and this was the best take. Doria didn’t even get a line to say. Maybe they would’ve had to pay her more if she got to talk. No free milk!

What a wonderful egg hunt. They had three giant baskets but it looked like they only had about six eggs.

and the eggs were out in the open - not hidden. but for a two-year-old I guess he wouldn't even understand what to do anyway
