I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

She could be ranked as one of the most influential women in the world at this point depending on how you define influence. Just look at the number of posts in this thread that add any charity that she is associated with, whether as a guest speaker, recipient of another bought and paid for award, etc. to the posters’ lists of charities they will not donate to. That’s powerful stuff! The minute her name is associated with a charity I immediately assume that unfortunate charity should be avoided at all costs. So she has great influence but in a mainly negative way.

Not just any charity. Maybe it's unfair of me, but their association with Zed makes me look suspiciously at anything Tyler Perry or Gloria Steinem does/did/has done. And I'd say my opinion of Oprah and Gayle King went from neutral to -100.

My first thought was she missed her calling as a fiction writer. Then I remembered The Bench. Her ego would get in the way. Every novel she writes would be in the first person and a Mary Sue.

Let's not forget narcs love to write about themselves in the third person as well (seen it many times and always just as hilarious). That bio you posted sounded exactly like something she might have written herself.

Just had a chance to enlarge the teeny font on this. I mean, PR-type bios tend to exaggerate, but this takes the cake. She is "noted as one of the most powerful and influential women in the world"? Her self-delusion knows no bounds and her stans are feeding it.

New day, same old crap. There is nothing to finalize. The plans are in place, they can show up or shut up. But every time I read this I just SMH:

“But the way I see it is, I’m willing to forgive you for everything you’ve done, and I wish you’d actually sat down with me, properly, and instead of saying I’m delusional and paranoid, actually sit down and have a proper conversation about this, because what I’d really like is some accountability. And an apology to my wife.”

I'd like to volunteer to tell Sparry that he is paranoid, delusional and thick as two planks. We can have a proper conversation about it at the table with a pot of tea and marmalade sandwiches. Perhaps it will come over better if a total stranger tells him the truth. I'd even throw in an apology to his ILBW because I truly am sorry for ever thinking that she was a decent person. My bad.

Given the recent link between Dior and H, most likely another Harkle freebie Dior creation for her to diminish by draping it ill fittingly over her body.

A perk designers should provide for her with each garment is an attached drawing indicating where on her body the bronzing lines should end when wearing a specific outfit. It could eliminate the sometimes distracting body striping/mismatched tone of her appendages she sloppily overlooks.
