I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I hope not. Despite being his son, he is also a backstabbing todger with a horrible wife. The optics would be terrible and not a favourable start to Charles' reign if he is seen as rewarding the Sucky Duo.

ETA: if the Royal Lodge is smaller than McMansion or has less toilets, Zed will collapse and cry because they are being victimized!

I hope not too but Charles loves his son whatever he is and whatever he has done and will do in the future - I’m sure he would love Meghan to disappear and would happily blame on this on her but it’s the two of them doing this Harry is as bad as she is. Charles is not going to cut them off it isnt going to happen he will be doing his best to limit the damage and adverse publicity as he thinks best. it’s horrific for the royals to have their dirty linen exposed in public like this - the rot started with Diana and Fergie but Meghan takes the biscuit - privately Charles may not want to take sides against his 2 sons and will want to protect Harry for when William becomes king as the Queen wanted to protect Andrew when Charles became King - Harry and Andrew will have inherited enough to be able to live comfortable lives just not royal ones

I confess I watched him on Colbert last night. I swear it was an accident. Finished watching a movie, turned to that channel and he was the guest. Annoying of course. The highlight was when asked what his favorite smell was. He thought about it for a few seconds and responded "my wife"
the was groaning or aww-ing from the audience - probably the latter

I thought there was no audience so did the groans and awws come from a can? Did they have a live audience dub the reactions afterwards or what? It's a really reprehensible thing to fake audience's reactions IMO.

When I think of what TW smells, for whatever reason I'm thinking of sweat and some nondescript unpleasant stench, you know like some people just have a very unpleasant BO you cannot stand.

Geez. I find that slightly...unappetizing. Obviously I have never been THAT much in love, sorry.

I have to confess, I might have been... When we were dating, my now-husband had a very long hair and his hair would smell like fresh apple blossoms. It was really weird and funny, and totally sounds girly and not masculine for a guy who is tall and with a deep voice. We thought it was his shampoo but no, it would be there despite what shampoo he used. Whenever he'd be away, as I was a silly girl in love, I'd sometimes lay on the bed and smell his pillow because it really had this scent of apple blossoms. He still has the same scent in his hair but it's not perhaps as pronounced as it once was. Crazy, huh?! But I really cannot imagine TW having a pleasant smell. Ever.
