I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I think the greater issue for her was the prospect of the Sussexes forever having to play second fiddle to the Wales, particularly Catherine. The "Fab Four" was always a figment of the media's imagination.

She was mad Kate and Will didn’t fall for her charm offensive and kept her at arms length. If they weren’t going to be useful to her then they must be pushed aside.

She had nothing to lose, her sale-by clock was ticking like time-bomb. With nothing in her hands but post-it motes, she called his bluff - and he fell for it. Perhaps, the other GF were always waiting for him too and never dared give him an ultimatum. Meghan is the least polite person on the planet and what Meghan wants...

Me-again was never, ever going to fit in, regardless of whether she'd have wanted to or not. This is the BRF, one of the best known and high-profile families in the Universe, not the crummy tv sideshow arena which is her forte. In every way, it's clear that she's painfully a million miles out of her depth. She has stratospheric levels of delusions of grandeur. Sparry is no better. Everything is crashing down around them yet still they can't see it and remain in love with themselves. They're pitiful, really, but they are a true reflection of the mindset of so many people now i.e. think they're owed everything and take responsibility for nothing. I'd like to think Southpark took them down a peg or two but they're sure to think they've become more famous instead. I hope SP can press on with another episode which pokes more fun at them. I'm sure most of us Brits are seething at the Harkles' attitude and accusations, I know I am. KCIII and Queen Camilla are proving to be very popular, a fact that I am sure the Harkles didn't anticipate at all; KCIII is really becoming involved in aspects of everyday life in the UK, as is Camilla, and we all appreciate that. They're not QEII, of course, but they're just starting and I think they're doing fine. The Harkles are not missed, at all, they're a laughing-stock now and we don't need them and I really hope they do not attend the Coronation. Their peevishness and animosity is truly abysmal. Truly, whenever I think of that disrespectful mocking "curtsey" from MM, my blood boils. That alone is enough to refuse her entry to the UK.

KCIII and Queen Camilla are proving to be very popular, a fact that I am sure the Harkles didn't anticipate at all; KCIII is really becoming involved in aspects of everyday life in the UK, as is Camilla, and we all appreciate that. They're not QEII, of course, but they're just starting and I think they're doing fine.

Not a Brit, but that's exactly how I feel. Charles will never be The Queen, but he's doing well and has actually surprised me with a few moves (like that massive donation and opening up three residences so Brits suffering from the economy can have a warm meal, a warm place to stay and some social interaction).

They convinced themselves that MM was a Kate replica plus a willing American, so they worked a deal [$$$$] with MM to put her in Eug’s orbit which meant she would eventually land in H’s circle. The rest is history. Rumors are other families have developed similar schemes. Yes, I believe MM is paid to stay with Hazz. Imo the BRF has too much to lose to let a random chick worm her way in to the family, plus she is not that skilled or clever.
