I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

1. MM did buy herself one, is it the one that she currently wears ? might have been Tank Francaise in steel and gold
2. she wears yellow gold watch now , Tank Francaise ???
2. D had a Cartier watch, conflicting info about which son got it , don’t remember the watch style or color, don’t remember when it appeared … after separation ???
4. Lots of BRF ladies have Cartier watches, the Ballon model is popular with Catherine and Sophie , do they have more than one ??
I doubt that most internet journos bother to check the details color/model of the watch when spreading stories, if W learned to tell time with the watch, D must have had it early in marriage …
MM was big on Cartier jewels at the time of her wedding, wore piles of the stuff, tinier, dainty pieces, but still very expensive, who gave them to her ?? how much did she get ??

PS just found photos, D had at least 6 watches, incl D 2 Cartier tank watches - the basic , called the Louis Cartier model, with black lizard /leather band, a yellow gold Tank Francaise - but the TF was not released until 1996 - W DID NOT LEARN TO TELL TIME ON THAT ONE - so D's yellow gold TF was not a sentimental piece, she had it for maybe ayear before she died.

That’s true, also Jada wins because she took a very eligible bachelor with bounds of talent and charisma and ruined his life and turned everyone against him whereas it’s blatantly obvious spare refers to H’s dating status as an unattractive leftover.

Also I guess she gets another point for kids actually existing but it’s extremely hard to want award the existence of Jaiden(?) and Willow Smith.

I had no idea Jada was so bad... I personally have never liked her, but in my neck of the woods you don't hear much about her, so I thought it was just my impression.

No wonder that man refused to leave his yacht after he agreed to allow Harold to use it. Harold didn't speak to his host the entire time they were out on the water. Such good manners.

Thinking about it, with the information we now have about the drug use, who knows what could have happened on that man's boat? Harold thought that the request from a Prince would soften the guy up to do whatever Harold wanted. He was shocked when the man said he wasn't leaving as it was his boat. At that point, I am surprised that Harold didn't just pull out, however being the cheap guy that he is, he figured that he would drink the man's booze and eat his food. Oh, of course he didn't ask the man directly to use his boat, he had one of his good friends do it for him.

This was also a time when he woukd stay with the parents of his old friends, and be a cordial houseguest and then immediately forget about them.

The Harkles spokesperson relays the latest news about his beloved masters. I'm sure all of you are looking forward to an update, here it is:
1) South Park was a huge achievement for the Harkles, they are finally in the company of A-listers; 2) wait for more Netfl$$xs shows and philanthropic donations to Archwhatever; 3) the couple is still very 'lovey-dovey'; and 4) they haven't received an invitation to the coronation yet.



At the centre of this is the now-infamous South Park episode, which certainly pulls no punches in its merciless parodying of Harry and Meghan's tabloid personas – complete with "Stop looking at us!" protest signs and a tell-all book about the Royal Family called Waaagh!.

According to one newspaper, it spells "the beginning of the end" for the couple's popularity in the US. "A clear sign their star has fallen,” wrote another, who has clearly never seen South Park before.

Given that other celebrities lampooned by the show include Tom Cruise, Oprah, the Queen (killed in a 2007 episode that quickly got banned in the UK), William and Kate, Hillary ******* and Jennifer Lopez, I have a feeling they will be just fine…

Harry and Meghan are currently focused on work helping create safer online spaces for young people and new Netflix projects with their production company.

Despite the couple being out of sight and busy with various philanthropic and commercial endeavours, a cottage industry of fake news and inaccurate gossip about them is thriving in lieu of new information.

Other recent tales about the Sussexes have suggested the couple are:

"Going through tough times" (false – "Couldn't be happier!" said a friend)…

On top of this, there's near-daily "exclusives" in almost every paper about the couple's supposed plans for King Charles's coronation in May.

The reality, sources tell me, is that no-one, no matter how well-sourced, knows their plans right now – the couple has yet to be invited and can't make a decision, nor any form of itinerary, until that happens.

The Duke of Sussex has a net approval rating of -10 and the Duchess of Sussex's rating is -17 according to polling by Redfield & Wilton for Newsweek.

Prince Andrew is also viewed negatively but less than the Sussexes, with a net approval rating of -2.

They truly do deserve each other. At first I was more likely to blame Meghan for their missteps, but now I realize that Harry is just as bad. If/when they turn their toxicity on each other it is going to be beyond belief. If there weren't kids involved, it may be entertaining, but now I think it's just sad.

I also have wondered if/how Harry ever can have any relationship with his family again. Putting aside that it's the BRF, I don't see how any of them could ever trust him. Honestly, I don't see how any of them could ever be in the same room with him again. I don't lightly advocate for cutting off contact with family members, but I really don't see a path back for Harry. And yes, he can try to blame Meghan, but he's the one who gave her the ammunition and the platform. He participated in the Woe-prah interview, the Nflix mocumentary series, and "Waagh" is supposedly HIS memoir (fictional as it has been shown to be). He was and continues to be an active and willing participant in this bizarre campaign against his family.

Now adding back in that this is the BRF and it's even worse. Harry and Meghan allowed their insinuations/accusations of racism to go unchecked until after HMTLQ and Prince Phillip had died. They allowed all of the UK to be smeared as racist. They referred to the Commonwealth as the Empire 2.0. They bullied countless palace staff into leaving their jobs during an unstable economy. They've tried to paint themselves as victims since Meghan's SA "nobody has asked if I'm OK" interview. They are repeatedly tone-deaf on economic matters (e.g., Daddy cut me off financially with only Mummy's inheritance to support us) and are blatant hypocrites on environmental issues (private jets!) They plant stories that result in formal state events like the funerals and the coronation to be turned into Harkle fodder. They share self-aggrandizing anecdotes that are insulting to other nations (e.g., Fire in the nursery in the SA housing unit, South Africans dancing in the street, Harry's Taliban kill stats, and the Bonkers First Amendment in their adopted new home country) Nothing they do reflects well on the monarchy, and I don't see that changing, either.

It's an awful situation for everyone involved, and I don't see any satisfactory resolution.
