I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

Oh I do, mostly due to personal experience (on the receiving end, not the tantrumer). She was not really distraught. She was giving it her all to manipulate Harry.

Right, believe she learned all her tricks from a Hallmark movie she starred in and released pre-Harry, the basic premise being how to make any man fall in love with you.

Complete with lessons and examples with Harkle's twinkle in her eyes as she brings each man to his <errr> knees.

Am sure she picked up a few tricks from the movie and I watched it in disbelief a few months ago after stumbling upon it on the above cable channel.

Spoiler: Story from my wild (not) youth

When I was young (haha) and interning (not quite in an embassy, but I went out partying with the consul, his wife and their gang several times as our institution worked with the consulate) in Turkey my place of work had to hire a security person for the door for a bit after they had sent me out to a very public weeklong event and creeps wouldn't stop showing up at the office (which BTW was scary and uncomfortable and not at all flattering). Should I have this story printed on leaflets so I can give them out in social occasions?

P.S. To add insult to injury my (female) boss expressed her surprise because not even the apparently Germanic goddess that was the former intern (tall, blonde, blue-eyed) managed to kick up such a fuss. I'm not even friendly by nature, in fact I have to force myself in social situations to not come off as really cold

This is totally a side track to the conversation but I ran into this by accident today. I don't know how I've missed it. You guys have probably already discussed it ages ago. Does anyone know more about Lilliput having a birth certificate registered with the name Diana Mary?



People are speculating if she fully intended to get the titles and then announce the girl is actually Princess Diana. Well, now that her plan of QEII saying "no" to the name Lilibet backfired so she cannot use that to announce that she named her Diana to begin with.
