I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

This is one of the reasons I now believe not only M but also H is suffering from some kind of a personality disorder. Nothing else explains how he always thinks he should be the centre of attention and everything should go according to his will. Other people are only there to cater to his whims and give him his supply. He needs drama. It doesn't even have to be benefitting him in some way, there just needs to be drama and people reacting to his actions.

I was just going to thrill you all with a blow by blow, step by step account of the hilarious time I opened the door to a DHL man, traded pleasantries, signed for parcel, shut the door, and then lo! Opened my parcel containing cleansing oil. OMG, at least it doesn't happen every day.

Then I thought, no, it'll be too much for some of you to take, you'll die laughing and crying, such an exciting episode in my already fancy schmancy fun-filled life.

However, now listening to excerpts of The Spare, and needing a new handbag :biggrin: Random House is bound to throw money at me and beg me to open the lid of my as yet mysterious life that lay behind PT's avatar.

Harry doesn't need anyone to satirise his stuff, he does it all by himself.
