Harold, looks like your wishes have been fulfilled! TW didn't take any risks, she apparently disabled 'Google' on all of her devices before meeting you.
"The Duke of Sussex says perhaps Chelsy was his only girlfriend who did not get fascinated by his royal title.
Writing in his memoir ‘Spare’, Prince Harry notes: “ I’d always wanted to know what it might be like to meet a woman and not have her eyes widen at the mention of my title, but instead to widen them myself, using my mind, my heart. With Chelsy that seemed a real possibility. Not only was she uninterested in my title, she seemed bored by it. Oh, you’re a prince? Yawn.”
He continues: “She knew nothing about my biography, less than nothing about my family. Granny, Willy, Pa—who’re they? Better yet, she was remarkably incurious. She probably didn’t even know about my mother; she was likely too young to recall the tragic events of August 1997.”

1. This guy has drunk so much kook aid he must have got diabetes on the spot.
2. That’s natural human emotion H, you moron, people aka show empathy or surprise or shock to how a person’s circumstances differ from their own when trying to relate to them.
What would be far faker in my opinion is if a person didn’t react at all to supposedly new info about a date. Especially if this person called themselves an actor….
This guy has really never heard of the Yoko Ono manoeuvre and why it works so well on a fragile ego.
Tbh my conspiracy theory is Chelsy was planted there by the family in the hopes he’d date a suitable girl and she maybe even got a little coaching on how to stroke his ego. Cress was obviously set up by the family so why not Chelsy as well?
Though part of me thinks this is all an elaborate crutch to explain why H went to Africa to find himself and love and all that and still managed to never find a single black girl to date and wound up with another posh skinny blonde.
Cosmetic surgery goes all the way back to the early part of the 20C, it's just relatively safer, inexpensive and a lot more accepted these days.
What's also sad (and it's not ONE particular ethnicity) is that men and women often want to rid themselves of what their cultural background gave them naturally and 'import' some standardised feature. In M's case, this applies.
It goes wrong all the time still though and that’s so scary.
You’d think Linda evangelista and Naomi Campbell would get top work yet 2 of the great supermodels faces got absolutely ruined by procedures. It just seems a bit random still how your face takes to it.
It is scary how prevalent PS has become and the risks people are willing to take (check out the Asian PS subforum here on TPF) to fulfill some artificial canon of beauty
But women have been trying to conform to what society decides is beautiful for centuries, taking belladonna to show bright, dilated pupils, feet binding, cosmetics made w lead, cranium elongation (both men and women on this one), etc
The sad thing is that MM has effectively erased what made her unique as a mixed race woman and now looks generic and mainstream which might have been her goal
This is the reason why I can’t get behind K-pop. They are catchy songs sure but I know the industry relies on selling as many wannabes as possible cosmetic surgery on payment plans they can’t afford.
I disagree with this line of reasoning a little I think she did try and sell herself as a unique biracial beauty as this one of the best times in history for her to have market herself on her biraciality because there’s this urban myth that biracial people are the most uniquely beautiful. It worked for Mariah, Foxy Brown, Paula Patton, Jessica Alba, loads of girls.
The problem is and always has been that the way m looks shows that the myth is a myth. To be blunt she’s
never been pretty enough to sell herself purely on looks and
never had the talent or the drive to sell herself on her performances.
In LA I think the prominence of the entertainment industry motivates women to make themselves into the cookie cutter ideal of female beauty. It is what they see everywhere and for those in the industry it helps them get more roles.
Meghan didn’t get to be one of two dozen suitcase girls by looking unique.
Well tbh I don’t think it’s that bad I mean look at the Oscar nominees for best actress this year- I wouldn’t call most of them beautiful.
There’s lots of veteran actresses who aren’t sensationally beautiful or even big personalities (a La Bette Davis) but they all are good at a) acting and b) getting cast in lots and lots of productions. M not only can’t act but she didn’t want to do 3/4 films a year, plus theatre to remain credible, plus voiceovers, plus tv work. She just thought being on a tv show once made her famous forever and luckily for her she married a man who has finally made her relevant.
I think she just really bought the Lana Turner story that the casting director would be so bowled over by her beauty she’d go straight to the top but that didn’t even happen to Lana Turner

I have one next to my bedroom door. Got it as a parting gift from a co-worker when I interned in Turkey. Or rather, as
@papertiger said, the evil eye is nazar (in Turkish), the amulett is called nazar boncuk ("evil eye bead"). Or you can get a hamza (also called hand of Fatima). I would probably do a spiritual cleanse every night after going home
ETA: I just read a lengthy Twitter thread written by a Native American woman who explained the trend to smudge is making the special kind of sage go extinct. She says her people only get a few leaves off each plant, thank the plant for its sacrifice etc. and so it can take them all day to collect a big bunch to smudge with. But a*sholes drive in with huge trucks, mercilessly rip out whatever they can find and sell it for good money to white people who are riding on the wave of the moment. I had never thought of it but it left me so disgusted with everyone involved. She ended the thread by saying maybe research your own culture's way of cleansing and use what is indigenous to your area.
She makes a very good point.
Of course I’ve heard of horseshoes, clovers and white Heather in U.K. and people used to put shoes in the walls. (Don’t advise that one)
Speaking of her massive baubles. I have always wondered if they are all real? I suppose she has made a lot of money over the years, but they are big and she wears too much at one time IMO. She must have the same hairdresser as Gwen Stefani because you never see dark roots with that very blonde hair.
Yes that must be the reason
