I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

I saw this on x and thought it was from a parody account, but no, it’s on aseverofficial. I’m not exactly sure what Meg meant it to be, but to me it looks like an angry Meg is poised and ready to use her wine glass to bludgeon someone.

On behalf of Australia we say “ no thanks” to your overpriced rosé. We have a multitude of cheaper, better tasting and more classy options…..

Considering US wines (and other alcohol products) have, for the most part, been pulled from the shelves in many places in Canada, I have a hard time believing that her wine is in demand.

I think she likes this shadow of herself because she looks über skinny. I think it looks like Cruella de Ville.

Harry is probably not invited…

The Grifters were not invited to the Grosvenor wedding to avoid this kind of awkwardness so I suspect the same will hold true for the Phillips wedding. If you have to choose between the heir to the throne or his whining younger brother who would probably sell unauthorized pics of your wedding to the tabloids, well duh, of course you invite the heir and leave out the former spare.

I also believe William stipulated at some point in time that Harry not be in the same photos with him. It was around the time of Megzit. I feel it was why the Spencer family members ran interference during the Diana statue unveiling. Anytime Harry tried to get close to William a family member would insert themselves between William and Harry. I believe it was also why Harry was SUPPOSED to be in a different location during Philip’s funeral procession, but he rudely pulled a cousin out of line. It is also why Peter Phillips was walking between them during this procession. Peter’s placement was not a typical arrangement.

As far as security, Harry got it when he went to visit Charles after the cancer announcement, but it was later revealed to be for Charles sake, not Harry’s. They basically put a security perimeter around Harry to make sure he didn’t misbehave. So, I don’t doubt he’d get it. It just wouldn’t be FOR HIM, it would be for everyone else.

Although I doubt that he is truly invited or welcome and this blustering is probably about inventing reasons for not going.

For sure. Note that it says Hazy is planning to attend. Who says he is being invited? I would think Peter Phillips' fiancée doesn't want any of his drama on her wedding day. And it is not a major event. It's the second wedding of a lower member of the RF. What a pathetic plea for attention.

Exactly and this seems to be their entire existence; stay in the news cycle no matter what.

Peter has nothing to lose by not inviting him. There is nothing Harry can do or say that will hurt Peter. No doubt that Harry would love a picture with any of the family simply so he can say that they are best friends. There is equally no doubt that none of the family want pictures with Harry because they are afraid at how he will spin it.

This is a private family function and the only protection that will be there will be for The King or William and Catherine and the kids if they are attending. Harry's demands are wild and absurd and he knows it.
