I kindly request that all members participating in the MM and Harry thread dial back the vile rhetoric.

I am not opposed to discussing public personas on TPF, including the constant torrent of news surrounding the couple from this thread. But I find it troubling when their looks are being nitpicked apart to a degree that is just not appropriate.

This thread has drawn criticism over the years, and I discussed it at great length with Megs and the mods. I am not looking to close it down, but the vitriol needs to be dialed back.

My personal feelings about hate threads aside, this ultra-negative vibe is something better suited for other forums, Reddit, or elsewhere. I am holding our community to higher standards.

The desperate unpopularity of Prince Harry and Meghan is revealed in the latest royal popularity graphs from U.K. pollsters YouGov.
The polling provides a stark illustration of just how far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have fallen in the U.K. popularity stakes—put simply, only Prince Andrew is more disliked. Harry enjoys a positive rating from just 28% of Britons, while Meghan fares even worse at 20%, her joint lowest-ever score since tracking began.

These numbers have barely shifted since YouGov’s last survey in May, underscoring the entrenched nature of public opinion. By contrast, the rest of the senior royal family is in robust health with the public. Prince William leads the pack on 74%, Kate is just behind at 71%, and Princess Anne stands at 70%. King Charles III is on 59%, and the monarchy as an institution holds steady at around 62% approval, with two-thirds of Britons still preferring it to an elected head of state. Camilla’s ranking of 43% puts her lower than her fellow royals, but is unlikely to trouble royal spinners too much...

I don’t know everybody in the video but they show Christy Teigen , a guy I recognize from a fashion series (I can’t remember his name ), and I thought I saw Gwyneth Paltrow on a pottery wheel. I am not much of a food show person so I won’t be watching it.

I won’t be watching it either. I am so indifferent to both of them but I admit reading this thread has soured me on them. I also did not the book and Oprah interview and so find some of the stuff she and Harry do sketchy. The whole security thing also makes me question them.

She not enough of a draw to make me watch this show, I’m not a fan of hers especially after the whole bullying thing came out…I don’t agree with alot of Harry and Megan’s decisions and actions so I can’t support her show but I won’t bash them. If others want to watch it and enjoy it, great for them!
