Such a large increase already in the UK, now I will really have to re think anything I like at H from now on especially this seasons silks and GMs, no more impulse buys and I think more ladies will be thinking like this too .

I can't believe how much the clic clacs have increased by...... Clic H was £425 now £470 & Clic Clac was £455 now £520........ I was going to order one from the website yesterday & when I looked today it had gone up :( still going to buy it but have asked my SA to get it in for me.

I am with you on this one, I thought the same thing, no more 90's because I just can't get on with them & from now on I think I'll limit my Cashmeres to 2 per season & the same with the clics...... For how much the Birkin has gone up by I could of bought another bracelet & had change left :(

It's gonna kill me too ... so sad because I love GMs and find them so functional in addition to beautiful.

Over 30% on twillies????? That's crazy! I just went from considering a couple to No Way!

So the 13th is the date for the US? Good to know because I've been thinking of getting my first Evelyne, and was going to wait a little bit, but if they have a good one in in the next week or so, I may just jump on it. Any idea what the price hike will be on the Evelyne?[/QUOTE]

My SA just stated approximately 6% on all items, so it could be a little more or a little less. My guess is a little more of a price increase on an evelyne.

The price increase is insane....... Wish I'd bought a few more items on my wish list before the increase :(

If its a small purchase then buy in euros from Hermes.EU. I use the Irish website so I don't have to translate.

Kelly wallet is £2040 yet only 2150 euros. Ex rate at 1.18 makes it £1822. Make sure you get the rate first. There are loads of cards that offer this rate on pre purchased euros:)

Wow I didn't know you could do that, thanks for the tip :D

Some of these UK price increases are downright shocking! The twillies...! I'm in the UK 3-7 days a month on average and have always enjoyed doing some shopping there, but I'm going to have to stick to the US and Germany on those occasions when I must have something from the boutique. And as a non-resident, I can at least get half the VAT back-- I feel extra sympathy for my UK H friends who can't! Oof.

My general feeling is that if I want something then an increase around 10% isn't going to bother me...but I find the 30% increase on Twillies offensive. Like someone else said, that's just greed and they're taking advantage of their popularity. Luckily I already have an extensive Twilly collection since it would be hard for me to buy a new pair based on principle. As for everything else, these increases won't slow me down lol!!

I'm finding the price increases insane too.
Although service in store is never less than polite ,I always am aware of the money making machine behind all the orange boxes and an increase like this seems to be somehow insulting to loyal customers like us !

I don't think it will slow any of us down but when you look at the increase of the Kelly & Birkin that's another clic clac I could buy but I'll still be buying another Birkin this year & possibly a Kelly so it won't stop me but I will make sure I really truly love something before buying it. :graucho:

Yes, for those of us resolving not to get caught up in the "smaller" impulse purchases, this increase can be a powerful motivator!

Also, I am becoming increasingly certain that my second Kelly will also be vintage, like my first one was/is.

Based on designerdiva40's price update..

10.5% Clic H
14.2% Clic Clac

That's a larger percentage than my SA told me, which was approximately 6% on all items as of January 13th in the USA.
